From Cusco: Rainbow Mountain Tour Full Day
- We will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Cusco at 04:00 AM, then we will head towards the south valley of Cusco.
- The trip by car is around 2 hours until we reach the town of Cusipata, where after having a refreshing breakfast, we will continue for 1.5 hours more to the starting point of the trek (Winincunca), you will be immediately surprised by the beauty scenic, the flora and fauna of the place with herds of alpacas and llamas and we will have incredible views of the Ausangate mountain.
- After a hike of 1.5 to 2 hours, we will arrive at our destination: Vinincunca, “the Mountain of seven colours” (5,020 m / 16,466 ft).
- At the top, we can appreciate the beauty and magic of the rainbow mountain and its surroundings, as well as the snowy Ausangate, one of the most revered mountains in the region. Here, you will have time to explore the area and take pictures.
- Later, we will return the walk downhill from the mountain until the starting point of the trek; later, we will continue the route by car until we reach the town of Cusipata, where we will recharge our energies with a delicious lunch.
- Finally, we will return by car to the city of Cusco.
- Approximate arrival time 05:00 PM.
