Description
Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Machu Picchu by train on a full-day excursion from Cusco and marvel at the spectacular Inca site. Also, walk through the imperial city of Cusco and experience the mystical and profound history along the way.
Itinerary

Tour Machu Picchu in a Day
- Pick up from your hotel at 3:40 a.m. or two hours before the departure of your train. Go to Ollantaytambo or Poroy Station, where we will take the train to the Inca City of Machu Picchu.
- Upon arrival at the Machu Picchu Station, we will transfer to the Machupicchu Sanctuary, where your guide will be waiting for you to start the two-hour tour of the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. You will have time to stay in Machu Picchu and appreciate the scenery of the heritage.
- Then you will take the bus back to Machu Picchu town where you will have time to visit the village.
- Half an hour before the train leaves, you will board the train to return to Ollantaytambo.
- Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, our staff will be waiting for you to take you to the imperial city of Cusco to the main square and from there to the hotel (transportation not included).
