- Drive to Sacsayhuamán, a civil engineering marvel known for its megalithic constructions, many of them exceeding four tons in weight.
- The second place to visit is Q'enqo, possibly a sample of what a religious-astronomical centre of the Incan era would look like.
- Head over to Tambomachay, which is considered to be a temple of veneration where the Incans might have worshipped water. This place holds many ancient ceremonial items.
- Finally, stop at Puca Pucara, which is thought to have been a military centre to prepare many young people of warrior lineage.
