The itinerary

Day 01

Full-Day Trek to Laguna Churup

Get picked up around 7 am after breakfast and travel to Pitec, a small village and the starting point of the hike, which takes around 40 minutes.
After being dropped off by minibus, begin the hike with your Churup Lake trekking guide. The ascent takes around 3 hours along an established hiking trail to reach the lake.
Ascend a 9-meter rock wall using ropes that have been fixed there for this purpose. This is the final and most daunting section of the tour.
See Laguna Churup, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Cordillera Blanca, after overcoming the last hurdle.
Stop for lunch and photos, and then return to Pitec along the same trail.
Take transport back to Huaraz, arriving around 4 pm, followed by a transfer to your hotel.
