Full Day Hiking to Churup lake
Get a pick-up around 7 am after breakfast to the hiking start point to Pitec (a small village), which takes around 40 minutes.
Get dropped off by a minibus and start hiking up; it takes around 3 hours along an established hiking trail to reach the lake with your Churup Lake trekking guide.
Ascend a 9 meters rock wall using ropes that have been fixed there for the purpose. This is the final and most daunting section of the tour.
See the Laguna Churup, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Cordillera Blanca after overcoming the last hurdle.
Stop for lunch and photos, and then hikers return to Pitec along the same trail.
Take transport back to Huaraz arriving around 4 pm and transfer to your hotel.
