Itinerary

Vinicunca mountain trek
Leave Cusco for a 3 hour drive in our vehicle to the south-valley of Cusco, passing by the village of Pitumarca on the way.
Stop for breakfast.
Continue to the start of the hike near the Pullawasi lookout point and trek for 2 hours to reach the highest point of the Vinicunca mountain.
Spend some time at the top, take memorial photos and recover some energy.
Descend down to the start of the hike, by the same trail, which will take at least an hour or so.
On the way, have lunch and return back by bus to Cusco.
Level: medium to difficult
Altitude: from 4300 m to 5100 m
Climate: sunny, cold, windy and rainy (recommended season: April to October)
