Description

Enjoy the mountains and close contact with nature, as this tour takes you to the south east of the city of Cusco through colonial towns and beautiful geological formations, as well as close to the highland communities, and the natural reserve that has been recently opened to tourism.

Itinerary

Rainbow mountain or vinicunca
- Pick up at 3am and drive to the high way to the south east of Cusco.
- Take a stop at the colonial town of Checacupe for use of facilities and click pictures of the ancient bridges.
- Continue to the town of Pitumarka where you will have light breakfast and to prepare for the hike.
- 8am Start hiking up the hill; you will reach an altitude of 16000 feet after a 3 to 4 hours hike. If its challenging for you, it's possible to rent a horse one way, along the way you will find facilities to use.
- Make it to the top in time to enjoy the place, have a snack, take pictures and then walk down hill for 3 hours.
- Return to Cusco by 7pm.

What's Included
