Description

Visit the Chinchero weaving centre witness a demonstration, about the dyeing alpaca wool with plants and minerals , just as in the Inca era. Also view snow-capped mountains, Urubamba river and see temples of the Incan era.

Itinerary

Major attractions of Sacred valley of Incas
- Pick up from your hotel at 8:00 a.m and proceed to Chincheros, a typical Inca town. Witness the ancestral Inca techniques of dyeing alpaca wool with plants and minerals.
- After this, explore the archaeological complex of Chinchero, and explore the temples and palaces of the Inca era.
- Take a 20 minutes car ride to the famous viewpoint of the Sacred Valley and admire the snow-capped mountains, the river Urubamba and the warehouses built on the mountainside.
- Continue to the Inca town of Ollantaytambo and visit the religious and astronomical sector of this Inca town.
- Ride 20 minutes to the town of Urubamba and stop for lunch.
- Travel for an hour by car to the town of Pisac and witness one of the largest cities of the Sacred Valley with terraces, temples, palaces and more sights from the ancient world.
- Return to Cusco.
