Description
Go on a hiking day tour of Pastoruri Glacier, located in the southern part of the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes mountain range. Pass through Ticampampa, Catac and the Recuay province on the way and interact with the local people. Stop by the Patococha and Puya Raymondi Lakes and discover flora and fauna of the surrounding area. Arrive at the glacier and behold the magnificent sight of the surrounding snow-capped peaks.

Pastoruri Glacier Hiking Tour
- Pick up from the hotel in Huaraz at 8 am.
Visit the Recuay province and continue to Ticampampa and Catac.
Enjoy the scenic views of the wonderful landscapes, highlands full of straw and cold wind on the way.
Stop next to a small lake called Patococha for a birdwatching tour.
Spot some wild ducks, Andean goose and Caracara birds.
Discover the Gasifiedwater stream, a drinkable water stream flowing from underground.
Proceed to Puya Raymondi, a changing colour small lake.
Arrive at Pastoruri parking place and ascend the Ice Mountain, either by hiking or on a horseback ride.
Visit the Iced Lake and Ice cave.
Return to the hotel in Huaraz.
