Description
Traverse through the Amazon jungle in this 3-day tour as you participate in a range of water activities and discover the confluence point of Amazon, Itaya and Nanay Momon to spot pink dolphins and see a variety of flora and fauna. Also, visit indigenous communities, learn about their culture, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the lush green rainforest.
Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to Amazon jungle from Iquitos
- After arriving in Iquitos, take a city tour of the city's historical centre, followed by a transfer to the pier from where we board the boat to the Amazon River.
- Observe the confluence of the rivers Amazon, Itaya and Nanay Momon, and see grey and pink dolphins.
- See various wildlife at the Javier farm, including anacondas, sloths, prehistoric turtles, alligators, parrots, and monkeys.
- Visit the native community of Boras and learn about their main activities, dress, customs and exotic dances.
- Arrive at the Ecolodge and take a tour of our facilities while enjoying an excellent view of the river Momon.

Day 2: Bird watching in the Jungle
- Go for a morning birdwatching tour, followed by a visit to the native community of Yaguas to learn about their culture.
- Visit the Mariposario Pilpintihuasi, which is famous for having several species of butterflies.
- Walk into the jungle with the guide to explore and learn about the different varieties of flora and fauna.

Day 3: Recreational fishing and transfer to airport
- Enjoy a bit of recreational fishing before heading back to the city and transferring to the airport or hotel.
