Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco- Ollantaytambo - Huayllabamba
Pick up from the hotel in Cusco at 5:00 am.
Travel through the Sacred Valley and arrive in Ollantaytambo.
Move towards Piscacucho and start the hike.
Stop for lunch.
Arrive at the camp in Huayllabamba.

Day 2: Huayllabamba- Warmi Wañusqa – Pakaymayu
Wake up very early and ascend through the cloud forest and the stone path until one reaches the highest point known as Warmi Wañusqa or 'Dead Woman'.
Have lunch.
Descent towards the camp at Pakaymayu.

Day 3: Pakaymayu - Runkuraqay - Puyupatamarca
Climb for 1 hour and a half to reach Runkurakay, a Tambo or a resting place.
Travel towards Sayacmarca and explore the surrounding valleys.
Continue walking towards Chaquiqocha and stop for lunch.
Go to Puyupatamarca, the highest pass and then descend towards Wiñaywayna.

Day 4: Wiñay Wayna - Machu Picchu - Aguas Calientes– Cusco
Arrive in Machu Picchu and trek towards the famous point called Inti Punku or the Sun Gate.
Travel towards the mountain of Waynapicchu.
Descend to the Inca city to take photos of classical views.
Proceed to Aguas Calientes town and take the train back to Ollantaytambo.
Return to Cusco.
