Tambopata National Reserve Tour
- Begin the tour at 9 AM by going forth to the River Port. Visit the Tambopata National Reserve by boat.
- We will go on towards Lake Sandoval, located within the Tambopata National Reserve, and witness the exuberant biodiversity that the area has. Sandoval Lake is simply incomparable; to get to Sandoval Lake, we walked along a wooden path of almost 3.5 km. Throughout the walk, we are always surprised by the rich fauna that this place has. At the end of the path, we find a small lake dock where we take a rowboat to take our tour of Lake Sandoval.
- On this journey, we can see black caimans, giant otters, herons, turtles, monkeys, macaws, wild ducks, and much more. We returned to the lodge before noon for our lunch.
- We will have lunch, which includes locally prepared delicacies, including a dish called "Juane, " which is made using rice, turmeric, eggs, olives, chilli pepper, and fresh juice. We will be heading back to the city at 5 p.m.
