Itinerary

1. Day 1: Cusco to Pomacanchi

   • Get picked up by your Peruvian guide from your hotel at 5:30 am. The bus will drive you towards Pomacanchi town.

   • Walk for about 7 hours until Santa Lucia Town. Have lunch and relax.

   • Appreciate the most wonderful landscape of the Andes, beautiful lagoons and waterfalls.

   • Camp near Santa Lucia town. During the evening, if you have luck, you can spot mysterious lights that appear and disappear (UFOS). They usually are located in front of The Apurimac Canyon.

2. Day 2: Waqrapukara

   • Get up early in the morning to have breakfast and at 7:00 am, continue to trek toward Waqrapukara for about 5 hours. You will be able to see many rock formations on the route.

   • Camp near the Waqrapukara temple, have lunch and start the tour.

   • Participate in a ritual ceremony for mother earth "Pachamama", for which your Shaman Inca will be in charge.

   • Visit the Waqrapukara Archaeological complex and see sacred Inca ports, terraces and Inca walls.

3. Day 3: Wayki

   • Go on a short trek, take some time to relax and meditate. Feel the connection with the energy of the sacred huge rocks, it is said that they are made by the Apus (mountain Inca spirits).

   • After two hours, arrive at the Inca and pre-Inca Cemetery. The tour guide will explain what the "dead" meant to the ancestors.

   • Continue walking for about 6 hours and arrive at the Wayki town.

   Dinner and overnight in tents.

4. Day 4: Return to Cusco

   • Savour breakfast early in the morning and take the bus to drive to Pomacanchi. See a great variety of birds.

   • Have lunch and reach Cusco.
