Itinerary

Mountain Trekking
- Arrive at Muscat, meet with your tour guide and proceed to Jebel Akhdar.
- Halt at Birkat Al Mouz, one of the most famous villages in ruins in Oman.
- Visit the large banana plantation and enjoy the scenic surroundings of the site, which is also home to the old Falaj irrigation system listed as Unesco World Heritage.
- Begin with the trek and climb Jebel Akhdar, which is up to 2600 meters above sea level.
- See the plantation of fruits such as pomegranates and roses on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful view. This trek will take around 2 hours.
- Then continue your trek to one of the highest mountains in Oman called Jebel Shams, the mountain of sun. The height of this mountain is around 3020 km above the sea, and this is the place from where you can see the Grand Canyon. This trek is for about 3 hours.
- After the trek, drive back to Muscat and halt at Wadi Ghul to admire the beautiful scenery of the old village filled with stone houses which are around 300 years old.
- Arrive in Muscat and depart for your hotel.
