Itinerary

Visit Hobbiton, Bluespring and the Waitomo Cave
- Meet the tour guide, who will pick you up at your hotel by 6:30 am and join a Hobbiton tour around 9:30 am for about 2.5 hours. See the iconic Bag End, the Party Tree, the Green Dragon Inn, and more, as your guide will tell you fascinating stories and trivia about the making of the films and the details of the set.
- Have lunch at a nice cafeteria at Shire's Rest.
- Arrive at Waitomo Cave and join an hour-long guided tour of the cave. You will enjoy the amazing lights of glowworms. You will walk through the caves with your guide, who will explain the history and geology of the area and marvel at the stalactites, stalagmites, and other cave features.
- Head back to Auckland at around 7 pm.
