Ramesh Tamang grew up in the remote mountain village of Aiselukharka in the Khotang district of Nepal, growing up in such an environment hasn’t been easy but he could gather a lot of experience from such a lifestyle.After finishing school, he went to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest, looking for a job and started his career as a trekking porter before heading to Kathmandu.Having been a guide for the past 10 years, he has traveled extensively all over Nepal.It is in 2014 that he established Community Trek. 

His objective being to provide authentic travel experiences to fellow adventure seekers like him while improving the development of Nepal, especially in rural areas.
