Go on a challenging trek to Annapurna base camp with a view of the principal peaks of the western portion of the great Annapurna Himalayan range, including Hiunchuli, Ganagapurna, and Machhapuchhare. See the amazing landscape, natural waterfalls, dense forests, rhododendron flower forests, come across beautiful lakes and rivers and observe the typical Nepali rural village.

Day 1: Arrival day (1,300m/4,264 ft.) Kathmandu, Nepal
Meet your tour representative upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
Transfer to hotel.
Enjoy welcome dinner comprised of delicious Nepali meal.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing and trek preparation (1,300m/4,264 ft)
The capital, Kathmandu valley, is an enormous storehouse of exclusive natural, cultural and historical sites. View the significant attractions of this area.
After spending a few hours observing wonderful sites, meet with the crew for a few hours to finalize clothing and trekking gears (down jacket, trekking boots, sleeping bags etc.) required during the trek.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m/2,690ft) 6-7 hours
Pickup from the hotel in the morning by your guide.
Arrive at the bus station to catch an early morning, comfortable tourist bus to Pokhara. The bus will head towards the west of Kathmandu Valley and continue the journey towards the western part of Nepal following the Prithvi Highway along the Trishuli river.
The bus will stop twice – once for breakfast and once for lunch and will continue until Pokhara.
The evening can be utilized to explore the lake area.

Day 4: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhadhunga (1,540m/5,052ft) By bus 2 hours and 4-5 hours walking
After breakfast, trek towards Tikhedhunga.
First, drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. After a short pre-trek preparation, the ultimate walk starts following the south bank of the Modi River towards Birethanti.
In Birethanti, complete the check-in formalities at the ACAP office, follow the trail leading towards Bhurungdi Khola pass, Lamdawali, Sudame and Hile, a few waterfalls, and finally, follow the trail up to Tikhedhunga after about two hours walk.

Day 5: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (3,194m/10,479ft) 6- 7 hours
Go on a long uphill climb through more than 3000 stone steps to finally reach Ulleri. A gentle ascent from here through the Rhododendron and Oak forest, passing Banthanti and Nangge Thanti, will lead Ghorepani.
Ghorepani is a gateway to Poon Hill, which is the best sunrise viewpoint in the Annapurna region.

Day 6: Hike to Poon Hill and Trek to Tadapani (2,590m/8,497ft) 5-6 hours
Wake up earlier than usual to catch the first ray of the sun striking the mountains.
For this, hike up to Poon Hill (3,193m), enjoy the view of the sunrise, spend some time taking snaps, and get back to the lodge at Ghorepani.
From here, the trail heads east, passing Deurali pass and Ban Thanti towards Thulo Odar Kharka through rhododendron forests.
Take a steep descent and a short climb to arrive at Tadapani finally.

Day 7: Tadapani to Sinuwa (2,340m/7,677ft) 6-7 hours
From Tadapani, steep descent through the rhododendron forest leads towards the suspension bridge, passing perfect terraced fields and a few waterfalls.
Cross the suspension bridge over Kimrong River, walk a few miles up and downhill, and pass Taulung to reach Chhomrong, a beautiful Gurung village situated on the lap of the giant Annapurna massif.
Leaving this beautiful village, descend while following the stone steps trail, cross the bridge across Chhomrong River, and finally climb up to Sinuwa.

Day 8: Sinuwa to Deurali (3,230m/10,597ft) 6 hours
Start with an easy walk from Sinuwa that continues till Bamboo passes Kuldhigar.
Then, a long, steep stone staircase will lead to Dobhan, crossing a suspension bridge.
The trail is accompanied by Bamboo, Rhododendron and Oak forest.
Next, a steep climb continues through the valley towards Himalaya and Hinku cave before climbers finally arrive at Deurali.

Day 9: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,549ft) 5 hours
After breakfast, depart towards Annapurna base camp.
A gentle climb will be done through the trail along the Modi Khola towards Bagar.
From Bagar, a strenuous hike will first lead climbers towards the base camp of Machhapuchhre (3,700m).
After resting here for about an hour, take snaps, and enjoy the view of Machhapuchhre along with other snow-capped peaks towering above 7000 and 8000 meters.
Finally, arrive at the South Annapurna base camp that offers a 360-degree vista of snow-covered peaks.

Day 10: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo(2,340m/7,677ft) 6 hours
After enjoying the mighty Annapurna Sanctuary (Annapurna Base Camp), retrace the same trail that drops down to Bagar, Deurali, Dobhan, and finally to Bamboo, passing temples, cave, and waterfall.
Walk across the bridge through the same rhododendron, oak, and bamboo forest.
Overnight a lodge in Bamboo.

Day 11: Bamboo to Jhinu (1,780m/5,839ft) 5 hours
Walk up to Kuldighar, and then retrace down to Chhomrong, passing Sinuwa.
From Chhomrong a vertical downhill walk will take climbers to Jhinu Danda.
About 15-20 minutes of downhill walk from Jhinu Danda will lead to a hot spring bathing pool, where climbers can relax and tend to their tired muscles.

Day 12: Jhinu to Pothana (1,890m/6,200ft) 5-6 hours
From Landruk, enjoy the view of whitewashed stone houses and temples, walking on the stone staircase to the bottom of the hill at Bhaisekharka.
Then, a vertical climb through the forest will lead to Pitam Deurali, from where climbers can enjoy the farewell view of Annapurna South and Hiun Chuli.
Next, follow the stone-paved trail, and walk down to Pothana.

Day 13: Pothana to Pokhara (820m/2,690ft) 3 hours
Start from Pothana and then take a leisurely walk towards Dhampus village.
From Dhampus village, the trail drops down to Phedi, passing a small lake.
From Phedi, drive to Pokhara.
The evening can be spent either with crew members or exploring the city.

Day 14: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, 7-8 hrs drive (1,300m/4,264 ft)
From Pokhara, catch a standard tourist bus to Kathmandu.
After 7 hours of drive all the way through Prithvi Highway, reach Kathmandu.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15: Last day of Annapurna Base Camp Trek : Departure day
Accompany tour representative for transfer back to the airport as per flight departure schedule.
End of tour.
