Description

Trek to the base camp of Earth's highest mountain as you pass through picturesque villages and forest areas whilst taking in the view of breathtaking mountainscapes! Visit famous stops such as the Namche Bazaar and Phakding, and explore local villages as you make your way up the most exciting trek in the world!

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu
- Upon arrival at Kathmandu International airport, transfer to the hotel.
- Head for an orientation of the trip.
Overnight at Yak and Yeti hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Lukla to Phakding
- Fly to Lukla (2710m).
- Trek to Phakding (2652 m).
Overnight at Yeti mountain home lodge.
Day 3: Phakding to Namche Bazaar
- Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3446 m).
Overnight at Namche Yeti mountain home lodge.
Day 4: Namche Bazaar
- Rest in Namche Bazaar.
- You can also opt for an excursion to Namche Bazaar and Syangboche Village.
- Back to Namche Bazaar.
Overnight at Namche Yeti mountain home lodge.
Day 5: Namche Bazaar to Tashinga
- Travel from Namche Bazaar to Tashinga (3867 m).
Overnight at Tashinga Everest Summit Lodge.
Day 6: Tashinga to Pangboche
- Head from Tashinga to Pangboche (4260m).
Overnight at Pangboche Everest Summit Lodge.
Day 7: Pangboche to Pheriche
- Trek from Pangboche to Pheriche.
- Opt for a day excursion to either Dingboche or Nagarjun La.
Overnight at Mountain Lodge.
Day 8: Dingboche to Lobuche
- Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4930 m).
Overnight at Lobuche Himalayan Eco Resort mountain lodge.
Day 9: Lobuche to Gorkhashep
- Head from Lobuche to Gorkhashep (5140m).
- Make a day hike to the Everest Base Camp (5364m).
Overnight at Gorakhashep in Mountain Lodge.
Day 10: Kalapatter to Lobuche
- In the morning, climb to the Kalapatter (5545 m).
- Then trek back to Lobuche.
Overnight at Lobuche Himalayan Eco Resort mountain lodge.
Day 11: Lobuche to Pangboche
- Trace your steps back from Lobuche to Pangboche.
O/n at Pangboche Everest summit lodge.
Day 12: Pangboche to Namche Bazar
- Again, go back from Pangboche to Namche Bazar.
Overnight at Namche Yeti mountain home lodge.
Day 13: Namche Bazar to Phakding
- Walk at a steady pace from Namche Bazar to Phakding.
Overnight at Phakding Yeti mountain home lodge.
Day 14: Phakding to Lukla
- Proceed to Lukla.
Overnight at Lukla Yeti Mountain Home Lodge.
Day 15: Back to Kathmandu
- Fly back to Kathmandu.
Overnight in Yak and Yeti hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 16: Departure
- Head to the Kathmandu International Airport for final departure.

Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late departure, early return from mountain(due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary

Tips to guide and porter

All expenses due to unavoidable events e.g. Personal illness, strike etc

Helicopter evacuation charge in case of an emergency whilst trekking

We don't include drinking water on the trek which you can buy a number of places for between $1 and $3 a bottle (it gets more expensive towards base camp). A better solution is to buy water tablets in Kathmandu for around $2 and treat the water (your guide can help you find the good places to fill your water bottle)

The other things not included on the trek are wifi, charging batteries, and hot showers. Wifi is available in some tea houses for $3 to $5 an hour. Hot Showers are also available in a few for around $4 and charging costs about $1.50 an hour

Unforeseen cost due to flight cancellation, weather conditions, etc. You are responsible for extra hotel nights ($30/night) and meals in Kathmandu for any extra days in Nepal due to flight delays
