Itinerary

1. Day 1- Arrive in Kathmandu

   • Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel.

   • After check-in and refreshing, attend a briefing by the tour executive.

2. Day 2- Kathmandu Sightseeing

   • After having breakfast, proceed for sightseeing activities in the Kathmandu valley.

   • Visit the Pashupatinath Temple, the holy Hindu shrine along the Baghmati River and Bouddhanath stupa, the largest stupa in South Asia. 

   • Offer prayers at the Budhanilkantha Temple, the finest stone sculpture of reclining Lord Vishnu.

   • Arrive at the Kathmandu Durbar Square.

3. Day 3- Drive from Kathmandu to Lumbini (290 km, 7hrs)

   • In the morning, travel to Lumbini on a 7-hour drive. On arrival, check in to the hotel and have welcome drinks. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, situated in the Rupandehi District of Southern Terai (lowland), at an altitude of 600 ft above sea level. Take rest for the day.

4. Day 4- Lumbini Sightseeing

   • After breakfast, visit Buddha Maya Garden to see Ashoka Pillar, Pushkarni Pond, Stone Marks of Lord Buddha’s footprints, Sacred Garden and World Peace Flame.

   • Then, visit some other Buddhist monasteries such as the Chinese Temple, Korean Monastery, Thai Monastery etc.

5. Day 5- Drive from Lumbini to Kathmandu

   • After breakfast in the morning, proceed for a return journey to Kathmandu. 

   • Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check into the hotel, and if you like, wander around the city on your own.

6. Day 6- Kathmandu Sightseeing

   • After breakfast, continue your sightseeing visit to attractions such as the Swoyambhunath stupa, the Buddha Stupa on the top of a hill providing a full glimpse of the Kathmandu valley and recognised as a world heritage site.

   • Visit Patan Durbar Square, which is located in the Lalitpur district. It is a popular royal palace in the city for the finest arts & architecture with masterpiece stone sculpture of Lord Krishna.

   • Then, continue the visit to the Bhaktapur Durbar square, the most charming architectural attractions of the Valley.

   Overnight at Hotel.

7. Day 7- Departure

   • Accompany our representative to the airport for your flight back home.
