Description
Embark on a trek through the steep valleys of Nepal. Make your way between villages, fields and forests of the Himalayas. Also, get to know the hill folks in the region. This journey will take you to mesmerising sights like the Rupse Chahara lake, Kali Gandaki gorge, and Gangapurna Lake.
Itinerary

Day 1- Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport. Receive a warm welcome from our representative who will show you the way to the hotel.
Check-in and refresh. Get ready for a briefing by our tour consultant.
Spend the rest of the day at your leisure; either rest or explore the valley's sights.

Day 2- Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Step out of the hotel for sightseeing. After breakfast, embark on a guided tour to the valley's major historical, cultural, and spiritual attractions.
Make a trip to the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambunath) and the Buddhists shrine (Bouddha Nath).

Day 3- Drive to Khudi
Give an early morning start to your journey. Follow the Trisuli River for a great scenic view along the way.
Divert to the Pokhara route to Dumre through the road that winds and curves at Mugling.
Head northwards to Besishar and Khudi, where you get the first view of the Manaslu range.

Day 4- Trek to Sirung
After a hearty breakfast, start for the first-day hike through villages, fields and subtropical forests, gradually ascending all the time. Ascend as the mountains get closer and catch close up views of Nadi Chuli and Manaslu.
Arrive at the Tamang village of Siring, which is your stop for the night. Make yourself comfortable in a simple homestay arranged here.
Spend the evening interacting with the simple Tamang folk. Take part in some of the cultural programs.

Day 5- Trek to Chamje
Trek through the valleys and alongside cliffs following the Marshayangdi river. At first, climb gradually upto Syange and then pick up pace through Jagat.
Arrive at the village of Chamje, located between the peaks of Annapurna and Manaslu.

Day 6- Trek to Dharapani
From Chamje, take a picturesque hike through the fields of corn, paddy, barley, potatoes, bamboo groves and rhododendron forests.
Arrive at Dharapani, a Manang territory.

Day 7- Trek to Chame
From Dharapani, move ahead westward through the tougher trail with some steep sections. Add relief to your hike by taking a dip in the hot springs. Enjoy the fabulous views of the Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV.

Day 8- Trek to Pisang
From Chame, ascend through a steep and narrow path and dense forest to a dramatically curved rockface, rising a sheer 1500m from the river floor. Notice the dramatic change in the vegetation as you walk along with the trail.
Cross the river at several points on suspension bridges before the trail that finally opens up at the majestic Himalayan Peaks.
Arrive at the village of Pisang, located on Marshyangdi river.

Day 9- Trek to Manang
Choose from either the upper or lower trail. The upper trail takes you via Geru (recommended). It can be a little strenuous, bringing you to a level with the Annapurna and Pisang peaks.
En-route visit the Barge monastery, which is Manang's largest monastery.
Reach Manang, located in a U-shaped valley between two giant snow peaks.

Day 10- Stay in Manang
Take short walks to explore Bhojo Gompa (monastery) or Gangapurna Lake.
Hike to Vraga village and its monastery.
Get to visit the Himalayan Rescue Association and find some ideas about Mountain Sickness.

Day 11- Trek to Yak Kharka
After a hearty breakfast, continue the trek climbing through the village of Tenki and onwards to the Marshyangdi valley to the Jarsang Khola. Notice the slowly changing vegetation transitioning to the dry juniper shrub.
Head northwards to the trail through a few pastures, scrubs of juniper trees and passes near the small village of Ghunsa, a cluster of flat mud roofs just below the trailhead. Cross several pastures, a small river over a wooden bridge and an ancient old Mani wall to reach the small village of Yak Kharka.

Day 12- Trek to Thorong Phedi
After breakfast, begin the climb to reach Thorong Phedi, a small settlement at the base of the Thorong La (High Camp). Here, take complete rest for a difficult trek the next day.
Attempt a hike to the High Camp so that the next day can be easier. However, it is not recommended as it is better to sleep soundly and safely rather than pursuing a risky climb at higher altitudes.

Day 13- Trek to Thorong La
Cross the famous high pass, Thorong La 5416 m, a high point of the Annapurna trek. An early start is recommended as one has to hike through the icy high-altitude trail.
Reach Muktinath by sunset and settle for the night in the same place. Muktinath is an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhist. The area hosts a Vishnu temple and a Monastery nearby. Muktinath demonstrates the religious harmony of Nepal.

Day 14- Trek to Marpha
In the early morning, pay a visit to the local shrines of both Hindus and Buddhists before starting the downhill hike to the village of Kagbeni. Arrive in Jomsom and Marpha.
Hike along a plateau above the world's deepest gorge, the Kali Gandaki, a surreal trek.
View the barren landscape reminding one of Tibet. Taste different food items made from apples available in Marpha, the apple capital of Nepal. Sip the local apple brandy of Marpha famous all over Nepal.

Day 15- Trek to Kalopani
After a hearty breakfast, detour to a new trail route towards Kalopani via Chokhopani village, land of the ethnic Thakali people. Get a fantastic panoramic view of Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, the three Nilgiris, Fang and Annapurna I.
Reaching Chokhopani, continue to Kokhethanti. Upon crossing a river, come across the newly constructed road site before reaching Kokhethanti of Kalopani.

Day 16- Trek to Tatopani
Divert to avoid the new roads, to Kalopani. Take a journey downhill. Cross the bridge at Ghasa and drop to lower elevations to re-emerge back into subtropical forests, lush with vegetation.
Walk along Rupse Chahara (popular waterfall) and continue down the east bank from Kopchepani via Garpar to a bridge at Dana.
At Narchyang Besi, get to see a powerhouse that supplies electricity in the area. From here, trek down to Tatopani. As the name suggests, Tatopani is 'Hot Springs', where one can rejuvenate one's body with a refreshing dip in the hot spring pools.

Day 17- Trek to Ghorepani
Resume the trek through the midlands of Nepal, observing the lifestyle of the people. Gradually ascend the Ghara and Sikha villages arriving at the village of Ghorepani, the district capital of Beni.
Stay overnight at Ghorepani to climb to Poon Hill early the next morning.

Day 18- Trek to Tadapani
Make an early dawn getaway to Poon Hill, 3,210m, to look at the sun rising over the whole Annapurnas and Dhaulagiri massifs. One can never forget the sight, and it offers a photographer one paradise.
Later after breakfast, continue over the meandering trail which winds up and down rhododendron forests to Tadapani.

Day 19- Trek to Nayapul
Hike down through Rhododendron forests to Ghandruk, the second-largest Gurung settlement in Nepal.
Meet the Gurung people, one of the popular and culturally rich ethnic groups of Nepal. Experience their warmth and hospitality and spend a short time here before finally proceeding to Nayapul after lunch, where the trek concludes.
Take a short drive to the ethereal city of lakes, i.e. Pokhara.

Day 20- Drive to Kathmandu
After leisure and a hearty breakfast, get ready to leave for Kathmandu. Enjoy a scenic drive through plains, mid-hills, terraced fields.
On arrival at Kathmandu, a representative receives you, and you arrive at the hotel to rest and relax. Alternatively, you can also explore the sights you have not seen or doing some last-minute shopping for handicrafts and souvenirs. Do ask our Travel consultant for any latest events that may be taking place around the city.
Later in the evening, join a celebratory and farewell dinner with our team.

Day 21- Final Departure
Please arrive at the airport escorted by our representative. If you are interested, you can extend your trip by taking another interesting trek, tour or extensions to Tibet, Bhutan or Sikkim.
