Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival At Kathmandu airport (1345 meters)
- Upon arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, meet the guiding staff and transfer to the hotel.
- Refresh and relax in the afternoon, followed by a welcome dinner in the evening.
- In the meantime, get introduced to your trekking guide.

Day 2: Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley
- Guided tour of Kathmandu's UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
- Prepare for the trek, buying or renting any necessary equipment.

Day 3: Lukla (2804 meters) - Phakding (2610 meters): 3 hours.
- Early morning pick-up from the hotel and drive to Kathmandu's domestic airport. It's a 35-minute scenic flight to Lukla (2804 meters).
- From Lukla, commence the trek to Phakding (2610 meters).

Day 4: Phakding - Namche Bazaar (3441 meters): 5.30 hours
- Continue trekking along the banks of the Dudh Kosi River, crossing it several times on exciting suspension bridges.
- After entering Sagarmatha National Park, the trail climbs steeply up until Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is known as the Gateway to Everest and one of the biggest towns along the entire Everest trail.

Day 5: Acclimatization
- Spend a day at Namche for acclimatization.
- After breakfast, go on a short hike to Syangboche and enjoy splendid views of Kwandge Amadablam from there.
- Return to Namche Bazaar and visit museums and monasteries to gain more knowledge about the traditions and culture of the Sherpa people.
- Also, visit coffee shops and bakeries with free wifi connection.

Day 6: Namche - Tengboche Monastery (3860 meters): 5 hours
- Continue trekking toward Tengboche through less paved and narrower paths.
- Cross a couple of long suspension bridges and lush pine forests.
- Reach Tengboche at 3860 m. Since Tengboche monastery is the biggest monastery in the Khumbu Region, the village is also called the monastery village.

Day 7: Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m - 6/7 hrs)
- Descend in a fairly wider path with well grown green trees.
- While trekking uphill, see wide valleys and speeding streams far below.
- Finally, arrive at Dingboche after a long hike.

Day 8: Acclimatization day
- It's important to have a few rest days along the way to appropriately acclimatize your body to the altitude.
- Do a day hike to Nangkartshang Peak (5083m) to be well acclimatized. View snow and ice formations all over the Valley and enjoy the scarce flora and fauna of the Everest Region.
- Climb back down to Dingboche and take a stroll around the monastery.

Day 9: Dingboche trek to Lobuche (4930m): 5 hours.
- After having breakfast, start trekking up and arrive at a yak farm. Enjoy the fascinating views of Tawache Peak (6,542m) and Cholatse Peak (6,440m) on the left from here.
- Then the trail directly goes to the Khumbu Glacier, following the Duglha, before reaching the village of Lobuche with views of the Khumbu ice, Pumori and lots of smaller peaks from the ridge.

Day 10: Lobuche - Gorakshep - Everest Base Camp (5357) - Gorakshep (6-7 hours)
- The trail continues to Gorakshep. Along the way, view Khumbu glacier by crossing the north rim of Everest, next to Khumbutse and Pumori, and finally head Gorakhshep.
- Check-in at a lodge in Gorekhshep.
- After lunch, continue trekking (need not use climbing gear) to the Everest Base Camp by passing several up and down hills.
- Get views of the Khumbu icefall, Khumbu glacier, and a close view of Mt. Pumori, Khumbutse, and several other peaks. The base camp is filled with many Buddhist prayer flags too.
- Spend some time at the Base Camp to get a good look at all the magnificent sights.
- Return to Gorakshep.

Day 11: Gorakhshep - Kalapathar (5545m) - Pheriche (4240m) – 5/6 hrs
- Early in the morning, start climbing Kalapathar to enjoy the sunrise over Mt. Everest. Kalapathar is just a pile of large rocks and dust, famous for its incredible panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.
- Return to Gorakshep for breakfast and then move towards the village of Periche. The trek is quite easy as it is downhill. The day is quite a long and challenging one, as we ascend a thousand meters up and descend another thousand meters.

Day 12: Pheriche - Namche Bazaar (3440m - 7 hrs)
- Trek down to Pangboche village to see the oldest monastery in the region, which contains what is said to be the scalp and bones of a Yeti.
- From here, the trail drops to the riverside and across a bridge continues up through the pine and juniper forest to Tengboche village.
- The trail then drops sharply down to the Dudh Koshi River and the village of Phunki. Cross the river and trek up toward Namche Bazaar.

Day 13: Namche Bazaar trek - Lukla (2810 m) 6-7 hours
- Last day of trekking. The entire trail drops sharply down to Lukla by following the Dudh Kosi River.

Day 14: Flight back to Kathmandu
- Take a scenic flight to Kathmandu in the morning.
- Transfer to the hotel.
- Rest of the day is at leisure for rest.
- Dinner with Nepali cultural program, in the evening.

Day 15: Leisure Day at Kathmandu
- Spend a day at leisure in Kathmandu, going shopping and resting.
- If time permits, visit a beautiful and medieval town called Bhaktapur.

Day 16: Departure
- Transfer to the airport for departure.
