Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters)

   • Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel.
   • After settling in, our representative will provide a brief overview of the activities scheduled for the next day, ensuring you are well-prepared for your exciting journey through Mustang.

2. Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Permit Preparation

   • Day of exploration as you visit UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Pashupatinath Temple, Patan, and Swayambhunath Stupa.
   • Return to the hotel for a comprehensive briefing on the upcoming Upper Mustang tour.

3. Day 3: Fly to Pokhara

   • Board a flight to Pokhara, the gateway to Upper Mustang.
   • Explore Ghurka Military Base and choose between visiting TashiPalkhel or JangchubChoeling Gompa.
   • Immerse yourself in the unique culture and landscapes of this beautiful region.

4. Day 4: Fly to Jomsom, Drive to Chusang (2800m) 4 hrs

   • Embark on a scenic drive along the Kali Gandaki River to Chusang.
   • Traverse through apple gardens, red rock hills, and quaint villages.
   • Take time to explore Chusang, enjoy lunch, and ensure proper acclimatization for a comfortable stay.

   Places Covered: Jomsong, Kagbeni, Tangbe, Chhusang.

5. Day 5: Drive to Tsarang (4000m) 4 hrs

   • Continue the journey along the Kali Gandaki River, passing through picturesque landscapes.
   • Marvel at the apple gardens, red rock hills, and river tunnels before reaching Ghami.
   • Explore viewpoints and the Dojari La pass for a memorable experience.

   Places Covered: Tangbe, Chhusang, Chele, Samar, Syanboche, Ghiling, Ghami.

6. Day 6: Drive to Lo Manthang (3800m) 2.5 hrs

   • Drive to Lo Manthang, a walled city, and explore Charang village en route.
   • Discover the longest mani wall of Upper Mustang and visit monasteries and king palaces for a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage.

   Places Covered: Charang or Tsarang, Lo Manthang

   Stay in Lo Manthang for Tiji Festival.

7. Day 7: Explore Lo Manthang

   • Participate in the vibrant Tiji Festival and explore the monasteries, king palaces, and unique cultural traditions of Lo Manthang.

8. Day 8: Drive back to Kagbeni (2780m) 6 hrs

   • Return to Kagbeni, retracing your steps through the picturesque landscapes.
   • Visit Kagchhode Monastery and take a leisurely stroll through Kagbeni village.

9. Day 9: Drive to Muktinath (3800m), then back to Jomsom (2700m) 5 hrs

   • Visit the sacred Muktinath and drive back to Jomsom, passing through the charming Jomsom market and Kagbeni village.
   • Take advantage of the opportunity to shop for souvenirs.

10. Day 10: Fly back to Pokhara, then Kathmandu

    • Board a flight to Pokhara and then Kathmandu. 
    • Enjoy free time for shopping or other activities, soaking in the memories of your Mustang adventure.

11. Day 11: Final Departure

    • Our representative will assist you in reaching Kathmandu Airport for your international departure.
    • Ensure you arrive at least an hour before your flight, and we wish you a safe and pleasant journey, hoping to welcome you again soon.
