Gushing waterfalls, high altitude lakes, colourful prayer flags, and ever-changing spectacular landscapes to immerse in the peaceful fusion of Nepalese and Tibetan culture as we pass through friendly villages and visit secluded Buddhist monasteries tucked away in the valley carved out by glaciers. The alternative trail to Everest Base Camp can be included through the Gokyo Lakes, Chola pass, and then EBC., the starting point for the trek.

-
Day 2: Free day for final trekking preparation
- Free day for final trekking preparation and spend your day as you prefer.
-
Day 3: Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding Altitude:2610 m
- Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla. A magical scenic flight takes us to Lukla in the morning.
- Begin the trek by hiking to the day's first destination, Phakding. 3-4 hours trekking and overnight in Phakding, which is part of our acclimatization.
-
Day 4: Phakding - Namche Bazar- Altitude:3440 m
- Our day begins by moving toward Sagarmatha National Park and the checkpoint at Monjo by following the Dudh Koshi River and crossing the Edmund Hillary Suspension Bridge. After a steep ascent, the trail eventually takes us into Namche Bazaar, the regional center of the Sherpa area.
-
Day 5: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazar - 3440m
- A day of rest so the body can adjust to the high altitude. The situation is ideal for Namche, as there are many things to do in the picturesque town, such as visiting Khunde Hospital, the community hospital established thanks to Edmund Hillary's humanitarian work in the area, admiring the views from Everest View Hotel, touring the Sherpa Cultural Museum, or hiking up to Khumjung Valley and its monastery, which includes a display of its famous Yeti scalp.
-
Day 6: Namche to Tengboche (3867 mtr. 5 hours walking)
- The track ascends via a series of hills and lush rhododendron forests to Phunki Tenga before departing Namche Bazaar past several little towns and a suspension bridge. The hamlet is well-known for its monastery, the biggest in the Khumbu region, and has a long history of hosting climbing expeditions.
-
Day 7: Tengboche to Dingboche 6 hours walking - Altitude:4410m
- The day begins with a slow descent through more forest.
- Then we cross another suspension bridge and begin a steady ascent toward Pangboche and Sumare, Ama Dablam's imposing presence accompanying us the entire way.
- As we arrive in Dingboche, mani walls and a monastery welcome us, and Lhotse, Island Peak, and other mountains add their magnificent features to the scene.
-
Day 8: Another extra day for better Acclimatization- Altitude:4410m
- Another day of required recuperation, with excursions to Chhunkung Ri, Nangar Dzong, or Dolma Ri offering plenty of chances to take in the breathtaking views from each vantage point.
-
Day 9: Dinghoche to Lobuche (5/6 hours walking)- Altitude:4940m
- Our bodies are well-rested from the previous day and ready for the next leg into Thugla.
- We pass countless cairns and memorials honouring the innumerable Sherpas and climbers who have lost their lives on Everest's slopes.
- We continue trekking through the desolate landscape until we reach the Khumbu glacier at the base of the famous peak. We are awed by the glacier's mysterious beauty and utter disarray here. Our arrival at the mishmash of structures that make up Lobuche's far-off outpost marks the end of the day.
-
Day 10: Lobuche to Gorak Shep then hike to EBC and back to Gorakshep ( Altitude:5140m)
- With the much-awaited arrival at Everest Base Camp, one of the most unforgettable experiences in Nepal, our trip comes to a close today. The morning is spent crossing the Khumbu Glacier and travelling to Gorak Shep.
- We stop for a well-earned meal and to enjoy the breathtaking scenery before continuing to our destination. This historic base camp has served as a temporary residence for some of the most illustrious mountaineers. We regretfully turn around and head back to Gorak Shep for our night's rest after pausing to take it all in and possibly see the newest expeditions taking on their tasks.
-
Day 11: Early morning hike to Kalapaththar (5550 mtr.) - Decend to Pheriche 6-7 hours
- Even if we cannot summit Everest, Kala Patthar is here to make the trip more meaningful by providing unparalleled vistas of the whole Khumbu basin and a sense of success from climbing the mountain.
- After returning for breakfast and collecting our hiking equipment, we re-started the path and began the sharp descent to Pheriche.
-
Day 12: Pheriche to Namche walking about 6-7 hours - Altitude:3440m
- Although a familiar path, the climb back to Namche Bazaar offers a fresh view of the surroundings and a more leisurely approach because of the slow drop.
-
Day 13: Way back from Namche to Lukla 7-8 Hours Altitude:2860 m.
- On our last day of hiking, we took a leisurely pace down the Dudhi Koshi and its suspension bridges back to Lukla.
- After arriving at Lukla, we can finally remove our bags, have a well-deserved shower, and sit back to bask in the glory of reaching the base of Mount Everest.
-
Day 14: Fly out from Lukla to Kathmandu
- This is the last day in the mountains as you fly back to Kathmandu after the incredible mountain journey.
- You can reflect on the trek in Kathmandu and do a last-minute souvenir shop in Thamel.
- Relax and enjoy. Meet up for some beers and dinner in the evening to celebrate the successful completion of the trek.
