Description
Hike through a beautiful pine forest amidst the snow-laden peaks that lead along the Dudh Koshi River to the mighty Everest Base Camp and get panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam and Tawache on this 14-day trek. Visit the famous UNESCO World Heritage sites of Pashupatinath, Swambhunath, Boudhanath and Durbar Square. Lastly, shop for some handicrafts as souvenirs in the markets of Namche.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
- After you arrive at the Kathmandu airport, your representative will greet you, who will drop you at the hotel.
- After check-in, you can either take rest or hang around in the city.

Day 2: Fly to Lukla (2860m) and trek to Phakding (2680m)
- Early morning we take a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The flight duration is around 40 minutes.
- After landing, the guides and porters will divide the baggage, and we can have a good look around and take pictures thereafter we walk on a trail that gradually descends to Cheplung village from where we get a glimpse of Mt. Khumbila, a sacred mountain which has never been climbed.
- From here, we gradually descend until Phakding.
Overnight in Phakding.We can spend our evening wandering around the village.

Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3450m)
- Today's trek starts in the morning after breakfast. We take a stiff walk through a beautiful pine forest that leads us along the Dudh Koshi River and passes Chumoa and Monjo villages before reaching the entrance of the Everest National Park.
- The walk is enjoyable through the river bed, and we reach Hillary Suspension Bridge. Then after crossing a suspension bridge, we pass Jorsale village and walk alongside the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. Finally, we climb uphill towards Namche Bazzar, a closer and magnificent sight of Kwangde Peak, Kusum Kangaru, Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Tawache, and many other fabulous mountains be viewed closely. Namche Bazaar is probably the biggest town for visitors to purchase traditional crafts and other souvenirs.
- We will spend two days in Namche for acclimatization and visiting local markets and traditions of the people living in the Himalayas.

Day 4: Acclimatization Day - Namche Bazaar
- We have set this day for acclimatization. Our body must be prepared for further ascending.
- We have the day at our disposal and can choose to do whatever we like . Next, we walk up to the Everest View Point for panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Tawache etc.
- On our way back, we will visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest photo Gallery, where we can observe various things.
- We also have enough time to learn about the Sherpa and their culture.

Day 5: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m)
- Today after breakfast, we start our trek with an enjoyable walk through the forest with a magnificent view of mountains.
- We choose the upper trail and pass through several chortens and Mani walls and small villages. The great view of the mighty peaks like Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kwangde peak is a constant throughout the day.
- Today's trail ascends through the forest on its way to Tyangboche. It has a large campsite, tea houses and lodges overseeing Mt. Ama Dablam.
We will spend the night at a hotel in Tyangboche.

Day 6: Tengboche to Dingboche(4480m)
- Today after breakfast in Tengboche, we set off for Dingboche. The day consists of a lot of descending until we arrive at Deboche. The trails ascend from there through the rhododendron forest. We walk downhill to Debuche and cross the Imja River to reach Pangboche.
- We decide to go to the upper Pangboche trail and admire the Himalayan vista and the Pangboche Monastery.
- We continue our walk to the Imja Valley and Lobuche River, and a continuous climb from there will eventually take us to Dingboche. It is a picturesque village with beautiful barley, potato and buckwheat field complete with grazing animals.

Day 7: Dingboche: Acclimatization (Free day)
- It is an acclimatization day again. Instead of staying idle, we climb a ridge behind the village and see six of the world’s tallest peaks, including Lhotse, Makalu and Cho Oyu.
- Furthermore, we can also admire Cholatse and Taboche peaks. Chhukung is a small hill station overlooking many mountains and glaciers.
- We can also admire the picturesque Imja Khola Valley and the beautiful Dingboche village from another location on the ridge. There are other numerous walk options up the valley sides if you feel like exploring.

Day 8: Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m) 5 hrs.
- We departed Dingboche and began our relatively short journey to Duglha. We walk through the alpine meadows and yak pastures to cross the Khumbu Glacier. The end of the moraine of the glacier is specifically steep and presents a challenge.
- As the trail drops to the Khumbu Glacier moraine, we face several great peaks, including Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal.
- As we are crossing Khumbu Glacier, we can also see the breathtaking view of Mt. Nuptse.

Day 9: Lobuche to Gorak Shep(5360m)
- Gorak Shep - the last stop before Everest Base Camp. As we reach the base camp, we enjoy the incredible melt patterns and admire the gently rounded ice towers on the upper part of the Khumbu glacier. The Everest Base Camp is stunningly beautiful.
- We can enjoy amazing views of Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori mountains from the base camp.
- After soaking in the beauty, we walk back towards Gorak Shep, where we spend the night.

Day 10: Gorakshep - Kala Patthar - Gorakshep - Pheriche (4260m)
- This is another important day of the trek. We’ll wake before dawn today to trek towards Kala Patthar for a glorious sunrise over Mt. Everest. The walk will be pretty demanding yet reward you with the most amazing mountain panorama: Everest, Nuptse, Changtse, Lhotse Pumori, and numerous others.
- We will then return to Gorakshep and walk further to Pheriche.
Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 11: Pheriche to Namche (3450m) 8 hrs
- The walk from Pheriche back to Tengboche is downhill, and then we will make our way up to Tengboche. Also, we will move down to Pungki Thanka.
- We will also pass Kyangjuma walking on a stress-free path to reach Namche.
Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 12: Namche to Lukla
- After breakfast, we trek toward the Hillary Suspension Bridge and then pass through the prayer flags above the gushing Dudh Koshi. The views of open plains, pine and rhododendron forests, as well as snow-covered peaks will lure you.
- Our arrival in Lukla will be at Tea House, and, traditionally, there will be a party with your trekking crew.

Day 13: Lukla to Kathmandu
- You will be joyed by the mountain views for the last time while flying from Lukla to Kathmandu for 30 minutes. As you reach Kathmandu airport, you’ll transfer to your hotel upon landing for some much-needed rest and reflection after your trek conquering the Himalayas.
- In the afternoon, we tour Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath stupa and Bouddhanath stupa, all world heritage sites.
- We have a full day sightseeing tour around these places that will give you a good introduction to the Kathmandu Valley.
- We’ll reunite in the evening for a farewell dinner at one of the best Nepalese restaurants in Kathmandu.

Day 14: Final Departure
- Today after breakfast, we transfer you to the airport to fly to your onward destination.
