Itinerary

1. Day 1- Arrival to Kathmandu (1400m)

   • Arrival at Kathmandu followed by a meet and greet and hotel transfers, and also a welcome drink. 

   • Before retiring for the night, we will do tour briefings. 

2. Day 2- Fly to Lukla - Trekking to Phakding

   • After breakfast, a car will drop us at the domestic airport for our flight to  Lukla.

   • Our actual trekking will begin from here. Our first camp destination will be Phakding (2,610 m).

3. Day 3- Trek from Phakding - Namche (3440m)

   • Starting the trekking journey today, we will start from Dudh Koshi, and ascend through Himalayan pine and cedar forests, to reach the celebrated village of Namche Bazaar. The village of Namche is a historic trading post where Nepalese and Tibetan traders exchange salt, dried meat and textiles.

   • During this hike, we will capture our first glimpses of Everest and other neighboring peaks.

   Overnight stay at a guesthouse.  

4. Day 4- Namche - Day Hike to Khumbu Region

   • Leave early for a steep hike up to Mount Everest. Do hike from Namche Bazaar and enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas including that of Mount Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam.

   • Continue to see the traditional Sherpa villages of Khumjung/Khunde.

   • On the way back, we will visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery.

   Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

5. Day 5- Trek from Namche to Tengboche (3860m)

   • An easy trail from Namche opens out towards the Dudh Koshi Valley at the settlement of Phungki Thanka. From the settlement, the views of Mount Everest are magnificent. 

   • Following the trail that marches along the right side of the Dudh Koshi River, we will reach the village of Tengboche. This village is also famous for the Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery of the Khumbu region. See this monastery and the village of Tengboche, which is located at the confluence of Dudh Koshi and the Imja Khola Rivers.

   Overnight stay at a lodge. 

6. Day 6- Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m)

   • Today, the trekking trail will take us across the Imja River via a suspension bridge and then take us towards the village of Dingboche.

   • Along the way, we will also pass by the village of Pangboche. We can enjoy scenic views of Lhotse, the Ama Dablam and the Island Peak from Dingboche.

   Overnight stay at a lodge. 

7. Day 7- Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m)

   • Making our way to Dhungla from Dingboche, we will come across the Trekkers Aid Post- situated at Pheriche (4,210 m). The path follows further down to the Khumbu Glacier from there. 

8. Day 8- Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep 5180m

   • You will reach Gorakshep, today. This is often seen as the last destination for all human civilization. We will take an hour's rest here proceeding to climb the Kala Patthar for sunset views.

   • At this time, we can also enjoy sunny reflections on Mount Everest and other nearby mountain ranges.

    Overnight stay at a lodge.

9. Day 9- Visit Everest Base Camp (5370m) - trek down to Pheriche (4260m)

   • After breakfast, you will go through zig-zag trails which will finally take you to the actual base camp of Mount Everest. This adventure trip will be a trip of a lifetime experience.

   • See the famous Ice-falls of Khumbu here and then trek down, back to Pheriche.

   Overnight stay at a lodge. 

10. Day 10- Trek from Pheriche to Tengboche (3880m)

    • After breakfast, we will trek towards Tengboche for rest and overnight stay. 

11. Day 11- Trek from Tengboche to Namche

    • After breakfast, we move from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar area, where we will celebrate our trek.

12. Day 12- Namche to Lukla

    • After an early breakfast, we will leave the Namche bazaar area and proceed downhill. This downhill walk will take around 6-7 hours before we finally reach Lukla. The trail is relatively easy though it is long. Enjoy tea breaks and lunch here on the way. 

    • Stay overnight at Lukla, where you can enjoy hot showers and coffee.    

13. Day 13- Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu

    • First, we will have a short celebration dinner in Kathmandu for the conclusion of this trek.

    • Then, we will drop you at Lukla airport for a flight to Kathmandu or your return flight to your onward destination.
