Day 1: Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa
In morning, fly for about an hour over the panoramic Himalayan Ranges to the capital of Tibet, Lhasa. Lhasa at an altitude of 3,650 Mt. is situated on the north bank of Kyichu River. The name of the city in the Tibetan language means "Place of the Gods", the residence of the Dalai Lama.
On arrival, you will be met by the local representative/ tourist guide and transferred to your respective hotel.
Rest and relax in the afternoon in order to acclimatise to the altitude.
Overnight at your hotel in Lhasa.

Day 2: Potala Palace & Jokhang Temple
After breakfast, proceed to Old Lhasa for full day of sightseeing.
Visit the Potala Palace, a legendary palace built atop a single hill that is considered to be synonymous with Tibet and was built by the first king Songtsen Gompa.
Visit Jokhang Temple, which houses Tibet's most precious religious relic, a golden Shakyamuni Buddha. This was brought as a gift by the Chinese Princess Wen Cheng on the occasion of her wedding to the Tibetan King, Songtsen Gompo.
Stop by to visit the Barkhor Market place, which is the religious and social focus of Lhasa.
Transfer back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Sera Monastery and Drepung Monastery
- After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Sera Monastery. Located 5 kilometres north of Lhasa, it is considered one of Tibet's prettiest monasteries. It once housed a community of 5000 monks but was virtually extinguished by the Chinese.
- Make your way to the Drepung Monastery and explore its hallowed premises.
- Visit the Barkhor Market and enjoy shopping in your free time.
- Spend the evening at leisure and return to your hotel at night for a good night's sleep.

Day 4: Lhasa to Kathmandu
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Kathmandu.
