Full day Nagarjun Hill Hike with Monastries Tour
Start at 7:30 in the morning after breakfast. Starts with a short drive up to the entrance of the hill, which is around 15-20 minutes from Thamel.
Continue hiking up, towards the hill passing through the forest with a clear trail. Right before the summit, there exist one grassy field on the top of the hill with sharp black stone everywhere but the view of Kathmandu Valley is worth this adventure.
On the summit, witness small monasteries and view tower. Every year on full moon day of Baisakh, there are big festivals for Buddhists, with a big celebration, as the entire hill is crowded by people with the intention of reaching the summit of Nagarjun Hill.
Descend down to the main entrance, and transfer back to Thamel, with your organized car (or jeep depending upon the group size).
