Meet up with your guide at your hotel.
Stop at the Kathmandu Durbar Square. The areas near the palace have many temples and monuments of archaeological importance like the Nine-storied Palace, Kastamandap Temple, Kumari Ghar, Kal Bhairabh and a museum inside the palace.
Visit the magnificent Swayambhunath Stupa situated on a hill that provides a breathtaking view of the Kathmandu Valley. It is considered to be a significant spot for Buddhist pilgrims.
Make your way to the Pashupatinath Temple situated on the banks of the holy Bagmati River, very popular among Hindu pilgrims. They come to pay reverence to Lord Shiva every year.
Explore the sacred Buddhist shrine - Boudhanath, which is one of the largest stupas in the world.
