Itinerary

Arrival in Kathmandu
You will be met at the Kathmandu Airport with a banner and droped at the hotel.
After check-in at the hotel and refreshments, I will provide a trip briefing. Group members should submit 2 passport size photos plus a copy of their passport and a copy of Travel insurance.

Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (2610 m)
Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840 m), which takes about 40 minutes.
Then, trek from Lukla to Phakding (2640 m), which takes approximately three hours, following a gentle climb up the mountainside on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi.

Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m)
The trail continues north from Dudh Koshi valley to Jorsale, where the trail officially enters the Sagarmatha National Park.
We continue along the trail, cross the Bhote Kosi River and climb steeply to Namche Bazaar (3440 m). Remember to look out for glimpses of Mt. Everest early on the trail.

Rest Day in Namche Bazar
We have a rest day in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize. This town, the hub of Sherpa society, is the administrative centre of the Khumbu region. Several shops sell items of every description and you can see a proliferation of Sherpa inns.

Namche to Tengboche (3860 m)
Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3867 m), which takes about five hours. Tengboche is an important viewpoint on this course, and the sunset on Everest and Ama Dablam is especially beautiful from here.
We visit the monastery in Tengboche, the largest monastery in Khumbu region.

Tengboche to Dingboche (4410 m)
Leave Tengboche and the Khumbu mountains as a backdrop and descend to a rhododendron-covered area to emerge in a pleasant level area. Pass a long Mani-stone wall to enter the village of Dingboche. From here, the walk is fairly moderate as you enter the Imja Tse Valley beneath the mighty peaks of Ama Dablam, Nuptse and Lhotse with views of the eastern snow capped mountains including Island Peak (6,189 m).

Acclimatization day in Dingboche
This is a remarkable acclimatization day. There are some breathtaking views of the North face of Ama Dablam and the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge as you explore this beautiful valley that leads up to Island Peak. The walk is short, with a good chance to relax in the afternoon. You have another option as you can hike up to Chhukum. From here, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Island peak, Ama Dablam, Makalu, Tawoche peak and others. On the same day, you come back to Dingboche and have rest.

Dingboche to Lobuche (4910 m)
The trail ascends to the broad, gently sloping valley and climbs steeply into the terminal moraine of the Khumbu glaciers. It then crosses the bridge and climbs higher on the moraine to a row of stone monuments erected in memory of many Sherpas and foreign mountaineers who have died climbing Everest before reaching Lobuche (4910 m).

Lobuche – Everest Base Camp(5337 m) – Gorakshep (5140 m)
While trekking to Everest Base Camp, you will pass through a trail, which weaves its way through ice pinnacles and past the crevasses of the Khumbu Glacier. During the spring season, you can meet some expedition team on the Everest Base Camp. The number of teams is less in the autumn season.
While returning, you can take a higher route to get a spectacular view of the Khumbu icefall and numerous mountains.
You return to Gorakshep to stay overnight. Full board provided.

Gorakshep to Kala Patthar (5545 m) to Pheriche (4240 m)
Early morning climb to Kala Patthar (5545 m) and enjoy the view of sunrise. From Kala Patthar, you can have a panoramic view of Mt. Everest and many other mountain peaks like Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku and many more.
Trek down to Pheriche. Pheriche is in the shadow of Everest Base Camp.

Pheriche to Namche Bazaar
Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar, which takes approximately four hours.
Enjoy a morning visit to the research centre.
Then, you trek back to Namche, an easier descent passing through rhododendron forest & few steep climbs for an hour from the bridge at Phungitenga, near to Shanasha. The walk to Namche is very scenic on a long winding path. En route you will visit traditional villages of Khumjung and Khunde. There is an opportunity to visit one of its monasteries, the only monastery that has a Yeti Scalp.

Namche Bazaar to Lukla
The last day of your trek leads from Namche Bazaar via Monjo to Lukla and takes about five hours. The trek is pleasant, except for few short uphill climbs and then down to the Bhote-Koshi River, crossing it three times. The last uphill climb of 45 minutes will bring you to Lukla.

Fly to Kathmandu
Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu. After breakfast, you take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu, which takes approximately 40 minutes.
Check-in at a hotel. This is a free day to enjoy yourself by taking a rickshaw ride and shopping at Thamel. Can also go sightseeing on request.

In the evening, we will have a dinner in Nepali cultural restaurant.
