Itinerary

1. Day 01- Arrival in Kathmandu

   • After arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be picked up by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

2. Day 02- Kathmandu - Nepalgunj

   • Today, in the morning, after breakfast, we will take a flight from Kathmandu, which takes around an hour. But the amazing sight of mountains can make you feel like the flight time is less. 
   • After arriving at Nepalgunj airport, we will meet other members and drive for two hours to reach the starting point of fishing and start rafting with fishing. 
   • Have lunch in Chepang, and then we will raft for 3 hours and do angling in the Babai river until we reach our first camp. It was found that the Golden Mahseer is active at night, so we can set our fishing rod and enjoy fishing in the evening also.

3. Day 03- Fishing and Rafting in Babai River

   • We can start to enjoy fishing/angling in the early morning before we have breakfast, as we know morning time is the best time to get a glimpse of wild animals. 
   • After taking breakfast, take some rest and start rafting along with fishing.
   • At this time, we will pass the thick forest where the Babai is also going deeper. We are also lucky because we also got a chance to see different wild animals there. 
   • After a few hours of rafting and fishing, we will meet our cooking crew and enjoy a picnic lunch on the river bank. 
   • Post lunch, we will continue our raft for three hours to reach our overnight camp. Upon arriving at Camp, we will set our fishing rod and catch Golden Maseer and Goonch, and release them back to the river.

4. Day 04- Fishing and Rafting in Babai River

   • In the early morning, we will go fishing. 
   • Then, have breakfast and get a bride about the lined-up activities. 
   • Later, join the fishing and rafting experience. 

   Overnight at the beach or camp.

5. Day 05- Fishing and Rafting in Babai River

   • Enjoy fishing and rafting with imaginary scenes and scenery. This is our last overnight in the River Bank, we will make a campfire and enjoy the last dinner. 

   Overnight in Tent.

6. Day 06- Bardiya National Park

   • Today is the last day of our angling trip. Until lunchtime, we will reach Bardiya National Park nearby Babai Bridge.  
   • We will have time so we can stay in Thakurdwar and enjoy an elephant and jeep safari into Bardiya National Park and relish Tharu Cultural shows. Eat food with local indigenous flavours.

   Overnight at local lodge/homestay.

7. Day 07- Nepalgunj - Kathamandu

   • After breakfast, we will take a flight from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu. The whole day is a free day so today you can have a day tour of major cultural Heritage sites including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath. 
   • You can also visit Thamel, the tourist hub of Nepal, where we can do souvenir shopping and enjoy the food of your choice.

8. Day 08- Kathmandu Departure

   • Finally, we will drop you at the airport to conclude the tour.
