Embark on an exhilarating trekking experience from Kathmandu to Annapurna Base Camp via Poon Hill. Encounter a 'Pre-View' of Mt. Everest. Hike in the morning to witness the amazing sunrise in Poon Hill. Ramble in scenic villages and 'broaden your horizon' as you marvel at sunrises and sunsets and pass monasteries and gurgling rivers en-route the Machhapuchhare base camp via Annapurna valley. Enjoy a Nepali dinner with a live cultural show at the Nepali restaurant in the evening and know about the Nepali Culture. Experience pure nature filled with lush green forest, terrace farms with a backdrop of great hills landscapes and mountain views.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu airport
Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu, meet the Kathmandu tour representative and transfer to hotel.
Get a short brief about the trekking after refreshments.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara
Drive to Pokhara. [210km-5-6hr] [Optional: 30 min flight]
Enjoy some free time in the evening during which you can self explore around Phewa Lake and Pokhara tourist places.

Day 3: Nayapul - Tikhedhunga
Take a short drive to Nayapul in the morning, and start the trek from Nayapul.
After short preparation of the luggage for the porters and preparing yourself, take the trail that leads on an easy walk towards Birethanti along the river.
Stop for the check-in formalities that take place at the ACAP office.
Follow the trail that leads you towards Bhurundi Khola along with the great scenery passing through several countryside villages all the way up to Tikhedhunga.

Day 4: Trek to Ghorepani
Prepare for the long uphill hike to Ulleri, which has 3200 stone steps, and an amazing landscape with the valley and short range of Annapurna. It will get a little tiring at the upper steps however this beautiful view gives you the power to keep on walking.
After a short walk from Ulleri, the trail leads you through the forest of rhododendron.
Continue uphill to Ghorepani to have excellent views of entire Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Day 5: Hiking to Poonhill - Ghorepani - Tadapani
Get up early in the morning and go to see the amazing sunrise in Poon Hill after an hour-long walk. The view of the shining mountains is good for a photograph.
After about one hour, drop down to the lodge at Ghorepani and trek to Tadapani after breakfast. The beginning parts of the trail is a steep uphill climb to the ridge through the stone steps.
After a few ups and downs, you reach Deurali for a short break.
Pass through the forest, and have a short and easy walk to the ridge.
Go steep down to the river to cross the bridge.

Day 6: Tadapani to Sinuwa [ Altitude 2340m]
Drop down from the forest for a while and continue down to the river to cross a suspension bridge at the bottom.
Take an easy walk after the short climb.
Continue to Chomrong and go steeply downhill to the bottom of the hill.
Climb to Sinuwa.
Overnight at tea house lodge.

Day 7: Sinuwa to Deurali [ Altitude 3230m]
Start with an easy walk through the forest and head towards Bamboo.
Continue climbing up to Dovan. Then the trail leads you through the valley towards Himalaya where you may stop for the lunch.
Climb to Deurali.
Overnight at tea house lodge.

Day 8: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp [Altitude 4130m]
Go climbing up through the valley to get to the Machhapuchhare Base Camp.
Take an hour-long rest before you head to the Base Camp.
If you have no problem climbing up, continue on the walk to Base Camp for overnight. (If you have a problem walking further, you should stop here for overnight).

Day 9: Base Camp to Bamboo [Altitude 2340m]
Take the morning excursion after which the trail drops down through the same valley to Deurali and continues downhill through the forest.
Find an easy downhill that is not steep and has interesting hikes.
Stop at Bamboo.

Day 10: Bamboo to Jhinu [Altitude 1780m]
Get on the trail leads uphill through the stone steep to the ridge and start an easy walk to Sinuwa.
Follow the trail that drops down to the bottom of the hill and continue the climb up to Chomrong.
After lunch, take the Chomrong trail that goes steep drops down to Jhinu.
Once you get in the Guest House, walk 15 minutes downhill to the bank of the river where hot spring is located. It is said that when you take a bath in it, you wash all your sin.
Go for a short climb to the lodge for overnight.

Day 11: Jhinu to Pokhara [Altitude 1640m]
Go to the hot spring again this morning then trek down to Nayapul.
Drive back to Pokhara.
Overnight at Pokhara Hotel.

Day 12: Drive/ back to Kathmandu
Drive/Fly back to Kathmandu. [Optional: 35 min flight]
Enjoy a Nepali dinner with a live cultural show at the Nepali restaurant in the evening. [Complimentary]
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Transfer to International Airport
Have some free time until departure.
Then, transfer to the international airport for your flight.
