Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu (1345 m) & transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Explore Kathmandu
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Kathmandu.
Visit all the popular sites in the city.

Day 3: Lukla - Phakding
Begin the Everest Base Camp trek with a flight into the airstrip of Lukla (2804 m).
Trek for 3 hours to Phakdinga small town located by the river (2610 m).

Day 4: Namche Bazaar
Hike to Namche Bazaar (3441 m), a small town nestled on a hillside with major mountains all around and the trading hub of the region through Everest National Park.

Day 5: Acclimatization
The day is mainly for acclimatization, but if you wish you can explore the area around.

Day 6: Tengboche Monastery
Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3860 m), a Tibetan Buddhist monastery of the Sherpa community. Situated at 3,867 metres, the monastery is the largest gompa in the Khumbu region of Nepal.

Day 7: Dingboche
Head to Dingboche (4350 m), a Sherpa village in the Khumbu region of northeastern Nepal in the Chukhung Valley.

Day 8: Acclimatization
The day is mainly for acclimatization, but if you wish you can explore the area around.

Day 9: Trek to Lobuche
Proceed to Lobuche (4910 m), a small settlement near Mount Everest in the Khumbu region of Nepal.

Day 10: Everest Base Camp - Gorak Shep
Trek to South Everest Base Camp (5365 m).
Return to Gorak Shep (5180 m), a small settlement that sits on the edge of a frozen lakebed covered with sand in Nepal with the same name.

Day 11: Kala Patthar - Pheriche
Optional hike to Kala Patthar (5545 m) to see the sunrise and panoramic view of snow-capped peaks including of Everest.
Trek down to Pheriche (4200 m).

Day 12: Visit Phortse
Go to Phortse (3900 m), a farming village located in the Khumbu Valley in Nepal. It is off the main trekking circuit and therefore more resembles an authentic Sherpa village.

Day 13: Namche Bazaar
Trek back to Namche Bazaar (3441 m).

Day 14: Visit Phakding
Travel to Phakding (2610 m), a small village in the Khumbu region of Nepal and is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Day 15: Trek to Lukla
Trek to Lukla (2804 m), a small town in the Khumbu Pasanglhamu rural municipality of the Solukhumbu District in Province No. 1 of north-eastern Nepal.

Day 16: Kathmandu
Fly back to Kathmandu in the morning and transfer to the hotel.

Day 17: Kathmandu (Optional)
Extra day in Kathmandu as a backup just in case of weather delays flight from Lukla.

Day 18: Departure
Transfer to the airport for a journey back home.
