Description
Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and embark on this adventurous trek to the Khumjung Village, starting from Monjo. Pass by the beautiful villages and the scenic Dudhkoshi river and witness the breathtaking mountain scenery of Nuptse, Lhotse, Amadablam and other mountain peaks. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath and the Boudhanath stupa in Kathmandu.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival In Kathmandu
You will be received at Tribhuvan International airport and transfer to hotel.
Get a short brief about the route/tour. Rest of the day, you can take rest or visit around.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Sightseeing includes visiting the Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath and the Boudhanath stupa.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla and trek to Monjo
- Early morning- fly to Lukla, meet the porter/s and other staff if there is a big group.
Start trek to Monjo – the trek follow Dudhkoshi River during the whole day. The trail has many small ups and downs. Lunch will be served on the way to Phakding.
Dinner and overnight at Lodge.

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar from Monjo
- After breakfast, the trek starts small ups and down following the same river for one hour and then the trek begins stiff ups till Namche Bazaar, the next camp. Namche Bazaar is the gateway of the whole Khumbu region – all of the trekking shops, good lodges, internet services, laundry services and bakery available.
Lunch, dinner and overnight at Lodge in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5: Explore Namche Bazaar
Explore around Namche Bazaar.
In the afternoon, hike to Khumjung Village (3790 m) where one of the Hillary School and ancient Khumjung Monastery are located. A visit to Khunde Hospital is worthwhile.
Come back to Namche Bazaar via Everest View Hotel, from where, we can enjoy perfect views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Amadablam and so many other mountains.
Overnight at Lodge in Namche Bazaar.

Day 6: Namche Bazaar to Phakding
Trek back to Phakding, a Sherpa village by the Dudhkoshi River.
Overnight stay at a Lodge.

Day 7: Trek back to Lukla
Trek back through the same trail to Lukla.
Overnight stay at a Lodge.

Day 8: Kathmandu
Early morning, we fly back to Kathmandu and then transfer to the hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9: Kathmandu
You can shop or just relax, whatever you want to do. Today is the day of your own.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10: Departure
Transfer to the Kathmandu airport for your return flight.
