Kathmandu & Swayambhunath Tour
9:00 am: Meet your tour guide at your hotel and drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square. The square is in the centre of the old city Basantapur. The founding of the palace date back as early as the Licchavi period in the 3rd century AD with a considerable renovation by the Malla ruler (13 to 18th century) and later the Ranas (19th to 20th century) and construction of buildings progress over many centuries.
11:30 am: Drive to Swayambhunath Temple. Swayambhunath literally means - Self-created or excited. Popularly known as the Monkey temple is a place where a group of monkeys roam around. The place is also a vantage point to see hectic Kathmandu city.
2:00 pm: Head back to your hotel.
