The hiking trail leads to the Kali temple, which has 1000 steps, followed by a trek through local villages to reach the serene Namobuddha monastery. Dhulikhel to Namobuddha Hiking
- Start driving to Dhulikhel, which is one and a half hours from Kathmandu.
- Reach Dhulikhel bazaar and get ready for the hike. Then, continue 1000 steps gradually up hills, and then reach Kali temple, which is the best viewpoint for the panoramic Himalayas, terrace greenery fields, local villages and jungle.
- Again, walk down to Kavre Bhanjyang and continue walking along the road and the local way to Namobuddha.
- Visit the monastery, get blessings from monks, and feel happy and full of enjoyable .
- Take lunch, relax, visit the tiger den, stupa, and grave of the previous-life Buddha, then pick up your car and drive back to Kathmandu.
The trip will take approximately 7 hours.
