Full Day Arnhem Airfield Tour
- Meet your Arnhem tour guide and have an introductory talk with him over a cup of coffee. Learn about the history of Deelen Airfield and the Luftwaffe 3. Fighter Division command bunker through a PowerPoint presentation.
- Walk to the area of former German staff around command bunker Diogenes, the largest command bunker built by the Luftwaffe (German air force).
- Visit Deelen Air Base, which was home to Luftwaffe night fighters and day fighters for almost 5 years.
- Enjoy a scrumptious lunch and tour the area of the Airfield.
- Visit German hangars, fire-station and engine shed of the air base and learn about the merciless air war that took away 75,000 allied airmen and thousands of civilian lives, which caused immense damage.
- Discover the remains of the rocket fuel depot of the Messerschmitt 163 rocket fighter.
