Day 1. Arrival in Cancun
On May 6th our adventure begins, be sure to arrive in Cancun by this date to start the route.
- Once you arrive at the airport you will need to travel to the “Eco Hotel El Rey del Caribe” in the city of Cancun. At the airport you will find transportation of all kinds, either cabs or local buses (ADO) that will take you to the center of the city (the hotel is located next to the ADO bus station). Do not hesitate to contact the guide who will be waiting for you one day in advance at the hotel. You will be provided with his number and a WhatsApp group to keep in touch.
- Welcome by the host. Welcome dinner on the evening of the 6th, official presentation of our guide and information of interest about the itinerary. Feel free to ask the coordinator any questions about the program.
Remember, this is a group tour. One of the main takeaways when going on a trip like this is to enjoy, help each other and make new friends.

Day 2. The adventure begins
May 7th. Breakfast at the hotel, 7:00 - 8:30 am.
- Enjoy a healthy tropical breakfast.
- At the appointed time, we will set off to the first point of our tour. This is the famous site of Chichen Itza, where the Kukulcan Temple, one of the 7 wonders of the contemporary world, is located.
- Once we arrive, after a drive of about 2 hours, we will meet with the local guide, who will give us a complete tour of the site, where we will learn firsthand the most relevant information.
- Once the visit is over, we will have time to visit the archaeological site on our own and have some delicious tacos or other local dishes at the restaurant.
- Don't worry about the weather. The trip is designed in such a way that we will not be rushed. We will visit the site for up to an hour when we will be practically alone, so we can enjoy the incredible city while we explore and take the best pictures.
- Once we meet at the agreed time, we will head to the colonial town of Izamal, where we will spend the night at the “Macan Ché Garden” hotel.
- After arrival at the hotel we will have time to visit this beautiful colonial town and go for dinner at one of the local restaurants. Don't worry, in the morning we will have a few more hours to enjoy this beautiful town.

Day 3: Cenotes and Colonial Hacienda Mucuyche
May 8. Breakfast at the hotel, 7:00 - 9:00 am.
- Start the day with a delicious and healthy breakfast at the hotel. Take a short morning walk to discover the beautiful colonial town of Izamal with its Mayan ruins, the former convent of San Antonio de Padua and be impressed by the vivid colors and Yucatecan hospitality.
- At the time indicated by the guide we will head to the circle of cenotes south of the city of Merida. After a 1 hour drive we will arrive at our destination, the Mucuyche Hacienda.
- Upon arrival we will enjoy a delicious lunch at this colonial hacienda where we will taste a delicious local meal (included in the program).
- After lunch, we will meet with the hacienda's guide who will show us each of the parts that make up the place, as well as tell us about its history in order to understand what the famous green gold exploited there is all about.
- Once the tour is over, we will have time to enjoy the cenotes located just below the hacienda. As you will see, it is a magical place.
- At the end of the day we will head to one of the neighboring villages, where we will spend the night and get ready to continue the route.
- Dinner will be free, in Sacalum you will be able to choose between different places and types of food.

Day 4: Mayan ruins of Uxmal and Kabah
May 9th. Breakfast at the hotel, 7:00 - 8:30 am.
- After breakfast, we will head to a new must-see archaeological site. This is Uxmal, a beautiful site with one of the most beautiful pyramids of the Mayan culture. We will also be able to enjoy a wonderful Puuc style and very interesting buildings such as The Palace, the ball game court and the “Quadrangle of the Nuns”.
- After visiting Uxmal we will head to another site not far from this one; it is Kabah which has some reliefs of the god Chaac worthy of admiring in what is known as the “Palace of the Masks”. But not before making a stop in a nearby village to enjoy a delicious lunch.
- At the end of the visits we will head to Hopelchén, where we will spend the night while we get ready to enter the state of Campeche and the beautiful reserve of Calakmul.
- We will spend the night at the “Jaguar” hotel. Nearby we will have local restaurants for dinner and a bar in case we feel like having a delicious michelada.

Día 5: Llegada a Calakmul, el plato fuerte del viaje
May 10. Breakfast at the hotel, 7:00 - 8:00 am.
- After breakfast at the hotel we will get back on the road to our next destination.
- The state of Campeche has some of the most incredible places we will see on our trip. The first stop will be Edzná, a site that catches us on our way to the deep jungle and where we will appreciate a pyramid of a very peculiar style.
- After visiting Edzná we will have lunch at a nearby restaurant and then head to the Calakmul reserve, the highlight of the trip. Once we arrive at our destination (Nuevo Conhuas), we will have the chance to visit Balankú a site in the middle of the jungle surrounded by howler monkeys and maybe some more surprises.
- We will finish the day at the bat volcano, a natural spectacle at sunset that will not leave you indifferent.
- Local dinner and off to bed. We spend the night at “Cabañas Calakmul”, where they will prepare a picnic for our next day. Get ready to get to know Calakmul!

Day 6: Calakmul Reserve: Archaeology and nature in its purest form.
May 11. Picnic breakfast en route.
- On this day we will wake up very early (5 am).
- At the appointed time and with our breakfast ready, we will head to Calakmul; this is one of the most important biosphere reserves on the planet, second only to the Amazon itself.
- On the way we will have to cover 60 km. of pure jungle. Halfway we will stop for breakfast and take a beautiful walk with the aim of spotting animals. We already anticipate that it will be a unique experience.
- After this activity, we will finally arrive at our destination, Calakmul. Now you will be impressed with this site in the purest Indiana Jones style. It is a spectacular ruins, with pyramids that we will be able to climb and see Guatemala in the distance. You will love it!
- On the way back we will spend the night at the Yaax'ché camp, where our host Fernando and his wife will prepare a delicious dinner for us. We will enjoy a magical night camping in the jungle. The camp will be ready for our arrival; we anticipate that this will be a unique and special experience.

Day 7: Becán and Xpuhil: Gathering strength for the 7-color lagoon.
May 12. Breakfast at the camp, 8:00 - 10:00 am.
- If you wish, after breakfast we have the possibility to do a hiking route in the camp, or you can also continue resting and enjoying the surroundings.
- At mid-morning we will move to Xpuhil, where we will relocate to our new accommodation. This is the “Eco Village Kinich Ahau”, in the area we can visit some more sites such as Becán and Xpuhil itself. *Our intention at all times is that you get to know in depth many of the archaeological sites, but we also understand that you may prefer to rest. It is for that reason that on this day you will have the possibility to enjoy the tranquility of the cabins in the eco village, or join us to continue discovering new places. You decide.
- At noon we will enjoy some delicious tacos or some other traditional dish that you enjoy.
- In the afternoon we have time to explore a little more of the Xpuhil area. And finally we will have dinner at the Eco Village and we will rest to get our strength back for our next destination: Bacalar.

Day 8: Bacalar and the 7-color lagoon: Boat ride and swim in the lagoon.
May 13. Breakfast at the hotel, 7:00 - 9:00 am.
- After breakfast we will continue the route to the coastal area, this is not over.
- We will quickly arrive to Bacalar where the famous 7 color lagoon is located. There awaits us a nice boat ride with open bar and different activities around the lagoon. But not before enjoying a delicious lunch.
- The boat activity will culminate at sunset, then we will rest a little in our hotel (Ade Hotel Bacalar), to get ready and enjoy the casual atmosphere of the city and its rich gastronomy.
- There is always the possibility of having a drink in a local bar before going to bed. Remember that the next day we will be free to rest and enjoy some more activities at the lagoon.

Day 9: Bacalar: Free day at the lagoon
May 14th. Breakfast at the hotel, 7:00 - 9:00 am
- After breakfast together, we will have the possibility to organize some activity together. There is the option to visit the Fort of San Felipe and even take a swim in “Los Rápidos”, a turquoise water channel where you can swim surrounded by fossil stromatolite structures. There is also the possibility of renting a kayak. We will have a great time.
- At the end of the day we will meet for dinner at an exceptional local restaurant. We will take the opportunity to plan the next day in our passage through the famous Tulum.

Day 10: Tulum: The Caribbean at its best
May 15th. Breakfast at the hotel, 7:00 - 9:00 am.
- After breakfast, our transportation will be waiting for us towards the Caribbean Sea. We will head to Tulum, where our glamping at “Ikal Tulum” awaits us.
- Upon arrival, we will be accommodated in our Glampings very close to the beach. We will enjoy a relaxing day at the beach in the purest style of the Caribbean Sea but without the stress of the resorts.
- Eat at a local restaurant and enjoy the tranquility and warm Caribbean waters.
- In the evening we will meet up for drinks and dinner and have a great time!

Day 11: Tulum: Our last Mayan ruins on the beach
May 16. Breakfast at the hotel, 7:00 - 9:00 am.
- In the morning we will enjoy breakfast on the beach and get ready to visit the last Mayan ruins of our trip.
- The archaeological site of Tulum will not leave you indifferent. It is an archaeological site right on the beach with monumental buildings and an environment that will leave you speechless.
- Once we finish the visit we will have time to have lunch and enjoy the afternoon on the beach before heading to Playa del Carmen, our last destination.
- We will arrive at the hotel “Casa de las Flores”, with enough time to leave our luggage, take a walk and have dinner on the famous fifth avenue of Playa del Carmen.

Day 12: Playa del Carmen: Catamaran, Cozumel and farewell.
May 17th. Breakfast at the hotel, 7:00 - 9:00 am.
- We will start the day with a magnificent breakfast before our last activity begins. We are off to Cozumel.
- At the appointed time we will board a catamaran that will take us to Cozumel Island. We will enjoy different snorkeling spots in a privileged environment where, with luck, we will be able to see the majestic sea stars. We will enjoy a buffet lunch and also some time to get to know some of the island's beaches before our return to Playa del Carmen.
- Upon arrival don't delay in getting dressed up, our farewell dinner awaits us.
- With great nostalgia we will all dine together at a nice local restaurant. All good things, unfortunately, always come to an end. But let's not get sad, the evening doesn't end there. After dinner we will say goodbye in style at one of the famous pubs that exist on Fifth Avenue.
- We will have a great time.

Day 13: Day of return to Cancun and end of the trip
May 18. Breakfast at the hotel, 7:00 - 10:00 am.
- On this last day we have breakfast at the hotel and we will have time to prepare our luggage for the return trip.
- Don't forget that our transportation company will give us the minivan and the support car until the end of the itinerary, which is the Cancun airport. (Departure at 11:00 am.)
- Don't worry if your flight is early in the morning or late at night, there are also local transports (ADO) that will take you directly to the airport, our coordinator will be glad to help you.
