Haarlem City Tour
Meet your tour guide at the Haarlem Central Station, which in itself is one of the main sights of the whole country.
Stroll along the canals, watch a magnificent city view and the working windmill, you will get to know more about the history of this old merchant city.
See humpback bridges, cosy yards-hofjes, old pharmacy, design stores and lots of street sculptures.
Head to the main square Grote Markt, which becomes especially busy on Saturdays when the farmer market takes its place just here next to the majestic Cathedral and the Weight house.
Try some Dutch delicacies, while listening to magical bells ringing from the tower of the Cathedral.
Take a closer look at the town hall, The Butchers' Guild Hall, a museum of modern art and an unusual sculpture.
Visit the Cathedral of St. Bavo, famous for its former largest pipe organ in the world, the one that 10-year-old Mozart played once.
Find the local ‘Red Light District’, which is definitely less famous or crowded than the one in Amsterdam, but is very cosy and authentic.
Move towards the riverside and see the luxurious Teylers museum, Frans Hals museum and 'hiding place' where Jews were sheltered during World War II.
Visit one of the local design stores, famous for its incredible lamp collection.
Have some local beer, made according to an old recipe in a brewery located in the church.
