AboutMondesa Township Tours provides a well-organized tour that reflects the history of Mondesa.And is not a Tourisik tour, it is an invitation of getting to know the different tribes of Namibia, in Mondesa is the invitation to visit them in their homes.It is our mission and core value amongst many other things to bring foreign visitors closer to our local people and to encourage the development of local [sensitive content]addition, our policy is also to uplift and promote the remote areas of our country and its people, helping them to preserve their old traditions and customs.Moreover by supporting our local people to be full participants in this industry, hence helping and developing the local skills and attitude towards our foreign visitors.Description Provides a well-organized tour that reflects the history of the Mondesa Township as well as Samy’s pride in her hometown.Mondesa was established in the early 1950s to provide housing for blacks working in Swakopmund.Charlotte designed the tour as a part of living history, moving from the Owambo areas to those inhabited by Damara and Herero.At each stop, a bit of culture, a bit of history, and a great deal of laughter are shared.Guests will also get the chance to learn about the traditional dress, see a demonstration of mahango preparation, taste some traditional Oshiwambo food and drink, visited the DRC kindergarten, and enjoy children dancing.Each customized tour last 2-3 hours with the aim of immersing visitors in the township
