As the Founder and President of Leave No Trace Malaysia, he always promotes and inspires responsible outdoor recreation through education, research, and partnerships.He works together with manufacturers, outdoor retailers, clubs, educators and individuals who share a commitment to maintain and protect the outdoors for future generations.He creates awareness to all his expeditions members regarding the Outdoor Recreation ethics and Minimal Impact Recreation skills.He also works with a lot of corporate sector in realizing their CSR towards Green Ethics.As a certified Wilderness Medical First Responder from Wilderness Medicine Institute of NOLS, Riduwan Zanin is qualified to make critical medical and evacuation decisions in remote locations.His knowledge of stabilization, treatment, and evacuation is valuable for long-term patient care management and specific injury evaluation.The 80-hour curriculum he attended includes standards for urban and extended care situations.Special topics include but are not limited to wound management and infection, realigning fractures and dislocations, improvised splinting techniques, patient monitoring and long-term management problems, up-to-date information on all environmental emergencies, plus advice on drug therapies.Emphasis was placed on prevention and decision-making.He is also certified in Adult and Child CPR & Airway Management.Having received his training from Malaysian Army Rangers, VAT 69 and also Malaysian Commando, Riduwan Zanin is well equipped to teach the survival skills needed to brave tropical rainforest.Riduwan Zanin trained on how to live and survive in the jungle with only a machete with the local indigenous tribe of Temuan & Semai.He learned specific skills, from the knowledge that had been passed down from generation to generation by word of mouth.This included learning about various plant species used for healing, consumption, and building, as well as day-to-day survival in the jungle.He began his survival training career by teaching basic skills to young adults, later leading school and college groups on life-changing expeditions to the interior of Malaysia’s jungle.Riduwan Zanin also an adjunct 4WD trainer.Trained by International Trainers with LANTRA Award & Land Rover Experience Certification, he has dealt with some of the most difficult terrains in the region.Having extensive experience in fleet management and logistics, Riduwan Zanin spent several years working for NGO's in Malaysia setting up logistic support units and carrying out initial training on these subjects.He is also the founder for My Landy Automobile Sports Club; an organization of 4-wheel drive enthusiast registered with Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia.
