Description

Wine taste your way through the Valle de Guadalupe (Guadalupe Valley) and visit the Wine Museum of Baja California on this tour from Enseñada. Stop at various wineries in the valley to tour the properties and learn about their methods of production, then opt to taste some of the local fare at your own expense. Round-trip transportation from your accommodation in Enseñada is included.

Itinerary

Valle de Guadalupe
- First, you will be picked up from your hotel by a local Ensenada tour guide at around 10 am and transfer to Valle de Guadalupe. Here, you can visit four wineries.
- The first winery offers wine tasting from the oldest vineyard in the Valley, surrounded by the most beautiful landscape of Valle de Guadalupe, at top world level, an elegant winery. (Wine tasting cost not included.)
- Afterwards, proceed to the second winery known for its fine wines and spirits, winning major international awards. There you can enjoy excellent wine tastings and buy their products at the boutique. (Wine tasting cost not included.)
- The third winery offers organic and artisanal products. Try local dishes, craft beers and wine, all made with seasonal and local ingredients. (Food and wine tasting is not included but can be purchased if you wish to do so.)
- Later, be taken to the fourth winery, where you do a short tour and learn about the winemaking process. Enjoy wine tasting at the end of the trip if you wish.
- Return to your hotel around 6:00 pm.

Know Before You Go

Tour recommended for adults 18 years old & up; if you are bringing kids, please specify in comments.

A minimum of 2 people per booking is required.

Minimum drinking age is 18 years.

Not wheelchair accessible vehicles.

Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Recommend having breakfast before the tour.

Don’t forget to call your bank to tell them you will be in Mexico, in order to avoid being blocked.

You can pay with credit/debit card everywhere, but bring some cash for tipping and souvenirs.

Don’t need to exchange US Dollars to Mexican Pesos, as US Dollars cash accepted everywhere.

Implement of Safe Distancing (6 ft) in wineries, vineyards and restaurants.

Avoid close contact greetings with guides/drivers and hosts in wineries, vineyards and restaurants.

Routes restructured for the safety of the participants.

Hotel and B&B pick-up and drop-off.

Sanitization of vehicles before, during, and after the tour.

Installation of plastic panels separating the front and rear of the vehicle.

Participants will be provided with a cooler with bottled water and snacks properly sanitized.

Participants shall be responsible for the transfer to the vehicle of purchased wine bottles and products.

Health Policy

Before starting the tour, the guide/driver will inform the participants about the hygiene protocols.

Before entering the vehicle the guide/driver will measure the body temperature with an infrared thermometer to each participant. A measurement greater than 37.5 C or 99.5 F will be considered as fever and you won't be able to take the tour.

If any of the participants have the following symptoms: fever, fatigue, dry cough and shortness of breath, then you will be informed that you will not be able to participate in the tour.

It's the participants' responsibility to inform if he/she was in contact with a person with covid19 in the last 5 days, and he/she won't be able to take the tour.

Before, during and at the end of the route, you will be provided with antibacterial gel with a minimum alcohol concentration of 70%.

Before, during and at the end of the tour, the appropriate use of the face mask shall be reviewed.

The vehicle will be sanitized with germicide spray at every stop during the tour after the participants leave the vehicle.

If at any stop the facility seems to be very crowded, the guide/driver must make a visual evaluation of the risk of contagion before the participants enter and decide actions to minimize the risk of contagion.

Participants will be asked to avoid direct contact with surfaces exposed to contamination.

At the end of the tour, the vehicle will be cleaned, sanitized and disinfected.
