Itinerary

1. Day 1: Airport-Hotel in San Cristobal

   • Transfer from the Airport to the Hotel in San Cristóbal de las Casas.
   • We will pick you up at the Angel Albino Corzo Airport in the City of Tuxtla Gutierrez, to transfer you to the City of San Cristobal de las Casas at the Hotel Grand Maria Special tourist category.

2. Day 2: Tour to Chiapa de Corzo and Sumidero Canyon

   • After the pickup from your hotel, we will move to the magical town of Chiapa de Corzo, then take a boat to the impressive Sumidero Canyon. The boat tour will last approximately 2 hours.
   • You will be able to observe a great diversity of flora and fauna of the region, great waterfalls, caves and the majestic canyon.
   • Return to Chiapa de Corzo, where you will have time to see the Mudejar style fountain, the Church of Santo Domingo, and buy crafts made in the region.
   • At the end of the tour, we will have some food. We will leave at 2:30 pm from Chiapa de Corzo to arrive at approximately 4:00 pm at San Cristobal de las Casas.

3. Day 3: Tour Waterfalls of Agua Azul, Misol ha and Palenque archaeological zone

   • After the pick-up from your hotel, we will travel to the city of Ocosingo to have our buffet or a la carte breakfast at the restaurant "Mi Ranchito" (not included), with an approximate time of 50 minutes. Our destination will be the Agua Azul Waterfalls, where we will have 2 hours to appreciate the incredible turquoise blue of its waters. 
   • Continue our tour to Misol-ha, where you can see a beautiful waterfall of more than 20 meters high. 
   • At the end of the tour, we will take 1 hour for our food (not included) at the restaurant of the same ecotourism centre or the Axkan hotel in Palenque.
   • Our last stop will be in the enigmatic archaeological zone of Palenque, where the Mayan buildings will be appreciated within the exuberant vegetation of the jungle. 
   • At the end of the tour, we will leave Palenque at 4:30 pm to arrive at approximately 10:00 pm at our beautiful city San Cristobal de las Casas.

4. Day 4: Chiflon Waterfalls and Montebello Lagoons Tour

   • After pickup from the hotel, we will move to the beautiful waterfalls "El Chiflon" where we will hike to see the different waterfalls until we reach "Velo de Novia" with a fall of more than 120 meters high.
   • We continue our way to the Lagunas de Montebello National Park, visiting 5 lagoons such as; Tziscao, Internacional, Pojoj, 5 Lagos and the main Montebello. 
   • Food will be made after visiting the first two lagoons, lunchtime 1 hour, the typical restaurants within the Lagunas de Montebello National Park are recommended, and later the last lagoons are crossed. 
   • The departure from the National Park will be at 6:00 p.m. to arrive at San Cristobal de Las Casas at approximately 8:30 pm.

5. Day 5: Transfer Hotel-Airport Tuxtla Gutierrez

   • We will pick you up at your hotel, to transfer you to the Angel Albino Corzo Airport in Tuxtla Gutierrez for your onwards journey.
