Description
The tour includes visit to Frida Kahlo Museum (the house that she shared with her husband Diego Rivera), the National Autonomous University of Mexico (largest university in Latin America) and the floating gardens at Xochimilco, where you can meet Mexican families and know their age-old traditions.
Itinerary

CDMX South Side tour
8 am- Pick up from your hotel lobby.
8:30 am- Visit National Autonomous University, where you will see the Olympic Stadium and appreciate a monumental mural by Diego Rivera as a tribute to sports.
Explore the Central Library which is covered in massive mosaic stone murals depicting the ancient history of Mexico done with Aztec and Spanish motifs, murals were done by Juan O'Gorman.
Arrive at The Rectory building with an impressive mural by David Alfaro Siqueiros.
11 am: Continue to Casa Azul Museum in Coyoacán, where the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo was born, lived and died. We will see pictures, photographs and personal objects of her and Diego Rivera, her studio, the kitchen, bedroom and beautiful gardens.
1 pm: Enjoy a traditional a la carte lunch at downtown.
3 pm: Board a “Trajinera” (a traditional boat) at Xochimilco to navigate some of its canals while we may listen to Mexican folklore music.
6 pm: Drop off to your hotel.
