Arrive at Lower Barakka Gardens that look over the picturesque old harbour.
Off to the centre of the city, stop in front of various iconic buildings that once belonged to the Knights of Malta, such as the Grandmaster Palace (now the office of the President of Malta), St George's Square and the old Manoel Theater.
Go down the Republic Street, the main commercial area of the city, and stop at the convent cathedral of St John's where a visit to the inside is a must, not only because this is a masterpiece of baroque architecture, but also because it houses the works of Caravaggio.
Another stop will be at La Vallette Square and Castille Square where you can see from the outside, Auberge of Castille and Auberge of Italy housing government entities.
