Itinerary

1. Day 1: Leave your hotel and start your drive to the Hustain Nuruu National Park

   • Get picked up from your stay.
   • Drive to the southwest of Ulaanbaatar and head to the Hustain Nuruu National Park.
   • Enjoy your lunch at the camp.
     • Optional: a horse ride or hike in the afternoon.
   • Drive to a small spring water before sunset, where Takhi comes down from the mountains for water.
   • Stay overnight in the Ger camp. 
     • Meals Provided: Lunch and dinner

2. Day 2: Head to Khogno Khan Nature Reserve

   • Start the early morning drive to Khogno Khan Nature Reserve. Khogno Khan Mountain has ruins of the temple almost at the top of the mountain that had been ruined by Galdan Boshigt (Leader of Dzungaria Western Mongolia) in the XVII century.
   • Continue walking down to the Erdenekhombo Monastery.
   • Stay overnight in the Ger camp.
     • Meals Provided: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

3. Day 3: Drive towards Kharakhorum

   • Reach Karakhorum, the ancient capital, and find the remaining sights of the ancient Mongolian capital, which descendants of Chinggis Khaan built in the XIII century. Later, it was moved to Beijing, China, by Khublai Khaan, grandson of Great Khaan Chinggis.
   • Experience riding the camel through dunes on a two-humped Bactrian camel at Elsen Tasarhai on the way to the camp. 
   • Stay overnight in the Ger camp.
     • Meals Provided: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

4. Day 4: Return to your hotel

   • Drive back to Ulaanbaatar and transfer to your stay.

     • Meals Provided: Breakfast
