Shwedagon Pagoda & Bogyoke Market
- Start the tour at 8 am through the 2,500-year-old magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda. Gape at this marvel sheathed in 11 tons of pure gold and 4,350 diamonds weighing around 1800 carats!
- Proceed to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, which houses a 70m long reclining Buddha image. Admire the green Kandawgyi Park and its highlighted Karaweik barge, a replica of the royal barge.
- Bustle your way through the Bogyoke (Scotts) Market. Shop in this famous market boasting of hundreds of gemstones, handicrafts, art, clothes and food stores. (Please note that the market is closed on Mondays and public holidays).
- Eat lunch at a local restaurant.

Sule Paya Stupa & Botahtaung Pagoda
Visit the colonial-style city center of Yangon in the afternoon. Make your way to Sule Paya Stupa, built over 2,000 years ago, and then the beautiful Maha Bandula Park with the Independence Monument.
Walkthrough some of the old colonial buildings and visit the historic Post Office and the heritage Strand Hotel.
Stop at Strand Hotel, and then drive to the Botahtaung Pagoda near the Yangon River.
Take a walk to the jetty and journey out for a sunset cruise along the peaceful Yangon River.
