Mandalay & Gold Leaf Workshop Tour
Pick up from your desired location and travel to Mingun Village.
Arrive at the village and visit the Pahtodawgyi Pagoda, a 200-year old stupa whose construction is still incomplete.
Continue to the Sayadaw Statue of the first monk, who translated all the Tripitaka texts into Buddhism.
Discover the Mingun Bell, the second largest bell in the world.
Visit Myatheindan Pagoda, the most beautiful pagoda around Mandalay, constructed in 1816 by King Bagyidaw.
Enjoy a boat ride to Shweinpin Wooden Monastery, the only remaining wooden monastery in Mandalay, built-in 1895.
Have lunch at a local restaurant.
Attend a gold leaf making workshop.
Move to Mahamuni Pagoda, one of the most sacred Pagodas in Myanmar.
Explore Mandalay Royal Palace, reconstructed in 1996.
Head to Shwenandaw Monastery, also known as the Golden Palace Monastery, the only surviving part of the original Mandalay Royal Palace.
