Description
Pay a visit to the famous Shwe Zigon Pagoda and Ananda Temple in Bagan. Trek to the top of Mount Popa and witness splendid vistas, explore Meiktila, and ride your bike to the Kalaw hill station and Pindaya caves. Experience a ride on the Inle Lake before visiting Shwe Yaunghwe Kyaung Monastery) and Kan Gyi Kyaung Monastery, Kakku Pagoda and Pa-O village.

Day 1: Yangon
Arrive at the Yangon International Airport, where you will meet your Yangon tour guide, who will ride you to your hotel in the city.
Check in to the hotel and relax for the rest of the day.
Overnight in Yangon.

Day 2: Bagan
Board your flight to Bagan from Yangon airport.
Upon arrival, your Bagan tour guide will pick you up and drive you to your hotel.
Start early morning and visit the prominent monuments such as Shwe Zigon Pagoda, the first and most crucial architectural pagoda. Visit Ananda Temple, the most beautiful and the first architectural temple of Myanmar and a masterpiece of 11th-century architecture. Most of the artifacts are still original and preserved in the temple.
Make your way to the Myinkabar Gubyauk Gyi, the best mural painting temple in Bagan. After that visit, more monuments and then enjoy the sunset at one of the monuments.

Day 3: Trek up Mount Popa
You will be picked up by your Myanmar tour guide from your hotel to visit Mount Popa, which is a 48 kilometres drive. See plum juice and oil factories on your way and peanut oil factories.
After reaching there, get ready to climb up 777 steps to the top of Mount Popa, which is home to Myanmar's intriguing nats (spirits).
After enjoying some spectacular views from the top, on your way down, drop by Zee O Village, famed for the ancient Thit Hla Ingyin Forest and the hospitality of the villagers.
Head to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Meiktila
You start your day by visiting Pyin Si village and experiencing the local life of the people.
Then your Maiktila tour guide will drive you to the city for a quick tour.

Day 5: Kalaw
Get ready for the longest and most challenging ride of this tour to take you to Kalaw.
Enter Shan state and cycle into the mountains, and ride through Tazi and several small towns before you reach the steep winding 25 kilometres climb to the hill station of Kalaw.

Day 6: Pindaya
Start the day by riding down a hill to reach Anugban before riding up the hills.
Head north to Pindaya and ride along the Shan plateau and feel the fresh air of villages.
Check in to your hotel and visit the famous Pindaya caves.
Return back to your hotel in Kalaw.

Day 7: Nyaung Shwe to Inle Lake
Ride to Aungban, and the last section has two sweeping downhills leading to Inle Lake.
Cycle inland to Nyaung Shwe, located north of the lake and enjoy a full day boat trip on Inle Lake.
Visit the five-day market, Indein temples, floating gardens, monasteries, and the Intha fishermen.
Have lunch in a secluded bamboo forest by the lake and visit the Intha cottage industries later.
Then, visit Shwe Yaunghwe Kyaung (monastery) and Kan Gyi Kyaung Monastery in Myaung Shwe. From there, you drive up through pine-clad hills to Taunggyi (about 1 hour, 31 km), the capital of southern Shan State and a former British hill station.
After cycling for 2 hours from Taunggyi in the countryside inhabited by the Pa-O people lies the ‘lost’ ruins of Kakku, a pagoda encircled by dozens of small stupas. Little is known about the origins of this unusual place – the Pa-Os believe that the original pagoda dates back some 2,000 years. Wander through the stupas, decorated with fine stucco work and Buddha images.
Visit a Pa-O village and a large monastery on the way back to Taunggyi. You can continue from here to Nyaung Shwe, where you board your boat and return to Taunggyi and from here to Nyaung Shwe, where you board your boat and return to your hotel.

Day 8: Mandalay
Transfer from Inle to Heho and board your flight to Mandalay International Airport.
