Description
Mount Popa is an extinct volcano 1518 meters above sea level and located in central Myanmar in Mandalay, about 50 km southeast of Bagan in the Pegu Range. Get aboard this short tour with a visit to Mount Popa located in central Myanmar in the Mandalay region and get an opportunity to witness some amazing sceneries and views. End the tour with a boat ride on the Ayeyarwady River, the country's largest river and most important commercial waterway.
Itinerary

Tour to Mount Popa
Pick-up will be at 9 AM from your hotel or accommodation.
Leave for Mount Popa.
On the way, enjoy sights of Toddy (Palm wine) and other local alcohol-producing places and also the Jaggery making factories.
Continue towards Mount Popa. Climb up the side of this mountain volcano for about 45 minutes. Enjoy scenic views from atop this mountain and stay here for about 30 minutes or so.
Begin to descend the mountain, which can take about 45 minutes.
Have a lunch break at Mount Popa itself.
Head back to the Bagan city.
Enjoy the sunset views as you set out on a serene boat ride along the Ayeyarwaddy River (subject to availability of time).
