Mavrovo Highlights Tour From Skopje
Pick up from the hotel in Skopje and drive to Mavrovo.
Visit the Mavrovo National Park and the Sharko cave.
Explore Galicnik and Lazaropole, two old Mijak villages in the Republic of Macedonia, known for their beautiful surrounding countryside and nature reserve.
Discover their well preserved traditional architecture, including an amphitheatre in the village square.
Taste the local yellow cheese, Kashkaval, as well as the local salt brine white cheese “belo sirenje”.
Drive along Mavrovo lake and the canyon of river Radhika to see the biggest monastery in Macedonia-Bigorski monastery.
Continue to Duff Waterfall and the wonderful Rajcica monastery.
Have a traditional lunch in Mavrovo.
Return to the hotel in Skopje.
