Ivoloina Park & Tamatave
Depart from Tamatave to reach the village of Ivoloina with your Toamasina guide.
Venture about the park, which offers the opportunity to observe many rare plant species and 13 species of lemurs. Here, you can also spot many species of reptiles such as tortoises, snakes and chameleons, and colourful birds that live freely in this reserve.
Head back to town and continue on a short panoramic visit to the city of Tamatave.
Travel through the colonial district, with its famous hotels, Boulevard Joffre, the Avenue of Independence and the Rue du Commerce.
Make a quick visit to the market, buy all kinds of spices and medicinal plants, and local crafts such as printed cotton fabrics and artistic products made out of raffia.
